01:21Simple present tense
01:24The simple present tense indicates an action that is happening now.

01:40I fold the laundry.
01:43She mops the floor.

01:54All these sentences are in the present tense,
01:58and in each, the verb is underlined.
02:02Sentences in the present tense use the base form of the verb.
02:08You don't need to change the verb at all in this tense.

02:23we talk about something that is permanent.
