Pope Francis leads last Mass of Asia trip in Singapore
More than 50,000 people filled Singapore's National Stadium on Thursday, September 12, to observe Pope Francis' last Mass of his 12-day trip across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Francis toured the stadium at the beginning of the event in a white golf cart decorated with the Vatican seal. He greeted dozens of schoolchildren, babies, and disabled people.
Many of the migrant workers come from nearby countries such as Malaysia, China, Bangladesh, and India. Many also come from the Philippines, a majority Catholic country.
