00:00Right to the end of his three days here in Timor-Leste, Pope Francis was greeted by large
00:08crowds as his motorcade left Dili to the airport to fly on to Singapore, plenty of people waving
00:15him goodbye, a ceremonial farewell at the airport, but the biggest highlight was Tuesday's
00:22Mass at an outskirts area of Dili with roughly half a million people.
00:28We were there, it was an extraordinary scene, and if the church was hoping that this visit
00:34of Pope Francis would really reaffirm people's commitment to Catholicism in this nation,
00:40I think they've been very successful.
00:42Timorese were all telling me that they just felt blessed and incredibly happy that Pope
00:47Francis made this journey here.
00:49Now Singapore, a little bit different.
00:51Catholics are a minority there, but nonetheless Pope Francis has a busy couple of days ahead
00:56of him.
00:57It will include Mass at the National Stadium, so we should see relatively large crowds gathered
01:04around Pope Francis in Singapore too.
01:07And then on Friday he will return to Europe, heading home finally after 12 days and four
01:13nations back to the Vatican.
