Pope Francis arrived in Singapore on Wednesday (Sept 11) for the final leg of his 12-day Southeast Asia and Oceania tour.

He was greeted at Changi Airport by senior officials as well as four children donning national costumes.

00:09The Pope was greeted at Changi Airport by senior officials, including Culture Minister Edwin Tong.
00:15He was welcomed by four children in national costumes, each greeting him in Malay, English, Tamil and Mandarin.
00:22Pope Francis is set to spend two days in Singapore, departing on Friday.
00:27His visit will feature a speech to political leaders and a mass at the National Stadium, which is expected to attract about 55,000 people.
00:36He will also hold private meetings with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and former Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
00:44Francis is the second Pope to visit Singapore, following a brief five-hour layover by the late John Paul II in 1986.
