00:00Koh-i-Khaf is one of the famous tales of the Middle East and Arabia.
00:06According to Islamic traditions, Koh-i-Khaf is called the land of the Jinn,
00:10which Allah Almighty has created from a shining gemstone.
00:13While according to Iranian traditions, this area was in the areas of northern Kufqaz.
00:18And no human government has ever been able to acquire this area,
00:22nor has any human being been able to conquer it,
00:25because these mountain ranges were hidden in secrets.
00:28Koh-i-Khaf is actually a mountain range.
00:31It is called the farthest point of the earth,
00:34which is famous in stories because of the land of Zartusht and a bird named Seemurgh.
00:40It is said that this mountain is made up of green vegetation.
00:44Due to this vegetation, the sky has been given a green color.
00:48Koh-i-Khaf was also called the city of the Jinn,
00:51where in ancient times the Jinn had established many governments.
00:55Imam writes that Koh-i-Khaf is divided into many areas,
00:58in which 70 lands are of silver and 70 lands are of gold,
01:02while 70 are of musk.
01:04According to Arabic books, Koh-i-Khaf is the highest mountain range
01:07in a few mountain ranges,
01:09which was created by Allah Almighty to support the earth.
01:13And all the mountain ranges in this world,
01:16all their branches are connected to the land of Koh-i-Khaf.
01:19In this way, Koh-i-Khaf is the largest mountain on earth
01:22and it is the center of all mountain ranges.
01:25In the 13th century, Zaghariya al-Qusawi wrote a book called
01:28Ajaib ul-Makhlukat wa Gharaib ul-Maujoodat,
01:31in which he wrote that according to cosmology,
01:34God has kept the sky so that the sky does not fall on the earth.
01:39There is a long series of mountains all around the earth.
01:43In this series, the mountain of Khaf is also included,
01:46which keeps the earth in its place.
01:48Similarly, the famous Sufi saint Jalal-ud-Din Rumi
01:51has mentioned Koh-i-Khaf in his writings in such a way
01:54that the powerful king of Sikandar, Zulqarnain,
01:57traveled to the east in search of the water of life.
02:00During this journey, he had reached Koh-i-Khaf,
02:03so he saw that the angel Israfil was waiting there
02:06to blow the trumpet on the Day of Judgment.
02:09And another narration is also related to this.
02:13Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas says that
02:16Prophet Muhammad came to us
02:20while we were sitting in the shape of a circle in Masjid-e-Nabawi.
02:24Prophet Muhammad said to us,
02:28What are you doing?
02:30We said, O Messenger of Allah,
02:34we are focusing on how the sun rises and sets.
02:39Prophet Muhammad said,
02:43You have done good.
02:45Think in this way about the creation,
02:47because Allah creates for whom He wills.
02:50You will be surprised to know that
02:52there are seven seas beyond Koh-i-Khaf.
02:54Each side is five hundred years long.
02:57There are seven lands beyond it,
02:59whose light shines for the people living there.
03:02There are seventeen thousand creatures beyond Koh-i-Khaf,
03:06which are women.
03:08They have been created in the form of birds.
03:10As soon as a baby is born,
03:12it starts flying in the air,
03:14and they are not even one second
03:16unaware of the glorification of Allah.
03:18Their food is also air,
03:20their drink is also air,
03:22their clothes and utensils are also of air.
03:24They do not know that Allah has created Adam or Iblis,
03:28nor do they know the children of Iblis.
03:31Allah created Koh-i-Khaf as the skin of the world.
03:35This whole world is present in the middle of this mountain
03:39like a finger.
03:41No human being can reach there
03:43because it will take four months of darkness to reach there.
03:47This is the mountain where there is no sun or moon,
03:50so much so that they do not even know the sun and the moon
03:53that Allah has created them.
03:56The light that reaches them is the light of the mountain Koh-i-Khaf.
04:00The people present there eat herbs
04:02and there is no cloth on their bodies.
04:04No person has ever been able to reach here.
04:07Is this valley really the land of the Jinn
04:10or is there a secret way to go to another world?
04:13The Companions asked,
04:15O Messenger of Allah, are they angels?
04:20The Prophet did not reply.
04:22But their obedience to Allah is just like angels.
04:26The Prophet said,
04:29I met the people of Koh-i-Khaf on the night of Ascension.
04:33The people of Koh-i-Khaf accepted the invitation
04:36of the Prophet to accept Islam
04:39and they became Muslims.
04:41According to the Sufis,
04:43Koh-i-Khaf is not actually a mountain present in this land,
04:46but Koh-i-Khaf means, for example,
04:48those mountain ranges
04:50that come under the observation of the saints.
04:54Sufis like Khwaja Farid-ud-Din Attar
04:57have observed this concept.
05:00In Tariqat, Koh-i-Khaf is considered
05:02to be a circle of consciousness
05:04and the right of a disciple.
05:06After attaining this,
05:08a person reaches the level of Fana-fi-Allah.
05:10Many people believe that this word
05:12expresses the center of something
05:14and this word is so sacred
05:16that the full name of a Surah in the Holy Quran
05:18is Surah-e-Kaaf,
05:20which refers to the Kaaf mountain.
05:22In this, the concept of Allah's unity,
05:24death and life has been presented.
05:26Geographically,
05:28where is Koh-i-Khaf present in this land?
05:30Various theories are presented about this.
05:32Most historians agree that
05:34Koh-i-Khaf in Arabic stories
05:36is actually the highest peak
05:38of the mountain range of Koh-i-Khaf
05:40in present-day Russia,
05:42Mount Albros,
05:44which is 18,506 feet,
05:46i.e. 5,642 meters high.
05:48It is not clear
05:50whether the Koh-i-Khaf
05:52is in Europe or Asia.
05:54In fact,
05:56the Koh-i-Khaf is a small
05:58republic of Chechnya
06:00with a population of
06:0215,000 square kilometers
06:04and less than 10 lakh people.
06:06Since the 16th century,
06:08this area of Koh-i-Khaf has been
06:10the center of the Kashmakash
06:12and Maraks between
06:14Iran, the Ottoman Empire
06:16and Russia.
06:18But the Chechen people
06:20started their war of freedom
06:22when at the end of the 18th century
06:24Kashmakash was divided into
06:26Georgia in the south
06:28and Russia in the north.
06:30In addition to this,
06:32countries such as Armenia,
06:34Azerbaijan, Tajikistan,
06:36Russia and Chechnya
06:38are also included.
06:40This area is rich
06:42in natural beauty,
06:44where innumerable species
06:46of animals and birds are found.
06:48The mountain range of Kafkaz
06:50has been divided into
06:5214 states, Georgia,
06:54Armenia and Azerbaijan.
06:56Its mountains are quite steep.
06:58In this mountain range,
07:00there are a few mountains
07:02longer than 5,000 meters.
07:04The highest and longest mountains
07:06are Albers and Kaspik,
07:08whose height is 5,642 and
07:105,033 meters in order.
07:12These mountains have white
07:14snow-covered peaks.
07:16In fact, these mountains
07:18are dead fire.
07:20When you look at these mountains
07:22from a distance,
07:24you will remember the time
07:26when the springs of mineral
07:28water and the explosion
07:30of fire from the springs
07:32of mineral water,
07:34the area in which the
07:36springs of mineral water
07:38are abundant.
07:40The most beautiful springs
07:42are Narzan, Barzumi
07:44and Yasin Toki.
07:46According to them,
07:48this mountain range has
07:50descended from the heavens
07:52to the earth.
07:54There is very little population
07:56here.
07:58This mountain range
08:00separates Asia from Europe.
