00:00Watch me make this slightly boring dresser a little bit more fun and funky.
00:04So we started by scuff sanding with 220 grit and then make sure you wipe her
00:08down. You do not want your paint and your primer all crusty dusty. My dad got a new
00:11sprayer so he's giving it a whirl. Did anyone see his booties? Super cute. This
00:16is Great Barrington Green by Benjamin Moore and this is where it gets fun and
00:19funky. So my dad cut this template using a jigsaw and a table saw. We're just
00:23tracing out where we want to remove the drawer face. We are using a jigsaw to cut
00:28to roughly cut out the inside. We're gonna smooth it out with a router just
00:32around the edges. So we're using that wood template again to make sure we have
00:36a clean line. And this was plywood. I did not know that at first so it left all
00:40this gunkiness. Just taking some wood filler and going in smoothing it out
00:44with my finger letting that dry and then sanding it down smooth. We are cutting
00:47some backing for the burlap to lay on. We spray adhesive that on and then screw
00:54it into the back. We put new holes for new hardware at the top of it and then
00:59boom! Look at that burlap drawer. It's so crisp. It's so clean. I love it. The
01:03colors look so good. Gorgeous.
