00:00Sarah, so you've just had an Ofsted report into the fostering agency, what's your reaction to
00:05its findings? Well we're over the moon with it, I think it really recognised what a family-led
00:10culture we are here at Changing Futures Fostering and that we provide very very high levels of
00:14support to our brilliant foster families. I think that knowing that we keep children safe is
00:21extremely important and I think in a time when there is a massive need for foster families we
00:27would encourage anybody locally to come to us and start to talk about what it's like to be a foster
00:33carer, to speak to the families that we have here who are open to that and it's just a really
00:37brilliant time for us of celebration. And how big is the need for more carers? It's absolutely
00:43massive, there are hundreds and hundreds of children across the North East who need safe
00:48foster homes with families that can help them overcome what they've been through so it's just
00:53we would say to anybody you know if you have thought about fostering please give us a ring,
00:59drop us an email and we will start chatting to you and we will make sure that we connect
01:04you up with one of our foster families so they can talk about their experience.
