00:00Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
00:03Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you too.
00:15Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you, viewers.
00:17From Sheikh Zaid Islamic Centre, Jamia Punjab, Lahore,
00:21on ARYQ TV,
00:24in the special transmission of Rabi-ul-Awwal,
00:26a special programme with Islam and the youth,
00:29Dr. Muhammad Tahir Mustafa is here to serve you.
00:34Dear viewers,
00:36those of us who claim to love Allah a lot,
00:44and then desire that Allah should also love us,
00:51Allah the Almighty, in the Surah Al-Imran of the Book of Allah,
01:05has instructed us through the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
01:09to say,
01:10If you love Allah, follow me.
01:15O my beloved,
01:17if you claim to love Allah a lot,
01:25then tell him to follow me.
01:29And when he follows you,
01:32then Allah will also start loving him.
01:36Dear viewers, the question that arises here is, what is following?
01:40One is obedience,
01:42and the other is following.
01:45Obedience is a view,
01:49a thought,
01:51a mission,
01:53and following is to follow someone's footsteps.
01:58Dear viewers, this is the difference between obedience and following.
02:02Now, when it comes to following,
02:05we see that scene
02:09when Hazrat Umar bin Khattab was walking with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
02:16and he came across a stream.
02:20The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, crossed it,
02:24and Umar bin Khattab, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was with him.
02:29After crossing that stream, he was not seen.
02:34He turned around and saw that Hazrat Umar bin Khattab, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
02:38was standing behind him.
02:40He asked,
02:41Why are you standing behind me, Umar?
02:43He said, O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon you,
02:48when you were walking,
02:50we follow your footsteps, O Messenger of Allah.
02:56When you raise your right foot, we also raise our right foot.
02:58When you raise your left foot, we also raise our left foot.
03:01O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon you,
03:03when you crossed that stream, I saw that I had made a mistake.
03:08I could not see whether you had raised your right foot or left foot while crossing it.
03:14Now, I am thinking, which foot should I raise?
03:18Ladies and gentlemen, this is called following.
03:21This is called following the footsteps.
03:24The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was so happy
03:28with this response of Hazrat Umar, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
03:30and with this scene of love,
03:32that he called him, hugged him and kissed his forehead.
03:36Ladies and gentlemen, what is this following?
03:38Today, we are going to talk about what this following of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
03:44demands from us.
03:47And the guests who are sitting with me,
03:49Maulana Fidaur Rahman Haidri,
03:52he is a religious scholar,
03:54he gives very beautiful speeches,
03:56he is a preacher,
03:58he is a Jamia Masjid Dar-ul-Salam, in Bagh-e-Jana, Lahore.
04:01And today, he is our guest.
04:02I would like to request him to tell us,
04:05what are the demands of the obedience of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
04:08and his following from us?
04:13Please listen carefully.
04:14Maulana Fidaur Rahman Haidri.
04:18All praise is due to Allah.
04:20And peace and blessings be upon His chosen servants.
04:25I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan.
04:29In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
04:33Allah, the Almighty, said in His glorious words,
04:37and the praiseworthy Qur'an,
04:39Obey Allah and obey the Messenger,
04:41that you may be shown mercy.
04:43And Allah, the Almighty, said in another place,
04:47Say, if you love Allah,
04:49then follow me, Allah will love you and will forgive you your sins.
04:53And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
05:24I am extremely grateful to my respected teacher, Dr. Tahir Mustafa Sahib,
05:33for his blessings of holiness,
05:35who under the shade of his kindness,
05:39and his training,
05:42this beautiful gathering today,
05:45which is contrary to the topic of obedience and following the Messenger of Allah.
05:54On behalf of KRYQ TV,
05:57I am thankful to the entire team, the channel,
06:00and to my respected teacher,
06:03for giving me the opportunity to address you.
06:08May Allah reward you.
06:10I will now come to my topic,
06:13obedience and following the Messenger of Allah.
06:15Ustad-e-Girami has beautifully explained the difference between obedience and following.
06:20In the Holy Qur'an, we find different verses
06:25about obedience and following the Messenger of Allah.
06:28If we look at the benefits and benefits of obedience,
06:32Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest,
06:34The Holy Qur'an, on the basis of great success,
06:38has established obedience to the Messenger of Allah.
06:53And on the other hand,
06:54Allah and His Messenger have attained great success.
07:00For entering paradise,
07:01obedience to the Messenger of Allah is a must.
07:07I will try to give an example of the difference between obedience and following.
07:15It is said to a labourer,
07:20that in this scorching heat,
07:24you have to do this and that.
07:26The labourer or the slave thinks,
07:32that this work should have been done in a cooler climate.
07:35Why has he sent me in this scorching heat?
07:38He does this and that.
07:40This is an act of obedience.
07:42What is following?
07:44He is told to do this work.
07:48But when you think that there is no better time for you,
07:53then you should do this work.
07:56But he does not bring the heat or any other pain to his attention.
08:03He decides that he has to follow this order.
08:06This is obedience.
08:07The companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him,
08:12have fulfilled the right of obedience.
08:20The Holy Qur'an has made their obedience the standard of faith.
08:30If you want to attain faith,
08:34you will have to follow the example of the companions of the Prophet.
08:38You will have to follow the example of the companions of the Prophet.
08:44My sisters are sitting in front of me.
08:46If we look at the companions,
08:48we see that they also lived the life of companions.
08:52They did not leave any shortcomings in their obedience.
08:56They did not find any shortcomings in following their orders.
09:02They immediately followed their orders.
09:06This is the reason why the companions of the Holy Qur'an are addressed.
09:11Similarly, women are also included in the addressing of the Holy Qur'an.
09:16There are companions of the Holy Qur'an,
09:17and there are companions of the Prophet, peace be upon them.
09:20I would like to continue my discussion by saying that
09:23in today's age, when there is hopelessness and hopelessness in obedience,
09:31then the Holy Qur'an is a promise of the Holy Qur'an.
09:33Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, perhaps you will be shown mercy.
09:37It is a promise of obedience to the Messenger that you will be shown mercy.
09:42And at this time, we need mercy.
09:44As an Ummah, where are we going?
09:47Our destruction is becoming predestined.
09:52So, at such a time, we will have to follow the obedience of the Messenger.
09:57And in order to do so, we will have to follow the Prophet, peace be upon him.
10:04And what is the promise of the Prophet, peace be upon him?
10:06That my entire Ummah will enter Paradise.
10:09But the one who refused, the companions asked,
10:12O Messenger of Allah, who is going to refuse you?
10:15The one who has refused my Sunnah is going to refuse me.
10:19I will have to follow the Sunnah.
10:21As a man, what Sunnah do I have?
10:25As a woman, if Allah has created me,
10:28then what commandments are being directed towards me
10:32that can be a guide and a helper in my worldly life?
10:37And my hereafter can also shine in accepting and creating it?
10:41The Holy Qur'an says,
10:43And whatever the Messenger of Allah gives you, take it.
10:48Whatever the Messenger of Allah gives you, take it.
10:51Stop what you are stopped from.
10:53That's it.
10:55We have always rebelled against the fast winds of time for the sanctity of the Prophet.
11:01We have broken the chain of politics.
11:03We have only loved the name of Muhammad.
11:06May Allah reward you well.
11:08Ladies and gentlemen, this is RYQ TV,
11:11a special transmission of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
11:13And our programme is Islam and the youth.
11:16In today's programme, we were talking to Maulana Fidaur Rahman Haidri.
11:20And the topic of their conversation was
11:22the obedience and following of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
11:26I would like to request the audience,
11:28if anyone has a question,
11:30then Maulana will answer it.
11:33My name is Hafiza Iqra Bashir.
11:35And my question is,
11:37what are the rights of parents in the light of Seerat-e-Tayyiba?
11:41In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
11:44Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and be kind to your parents.
11:50When you reach old age, do not say to any of them,
11:54do not curse them, and do not speak ill of them.
12:00In Surah-e-Bani Israel,
12:02where Allah commanded His worship,
12:06and forbade Shirk,
12:08there, in the next part of this verse,
12:12the rights of parents were mentioned.
12:14That is, you have to increase your respect and service,
12:20and not just worship.
12:22Worship is only for Allah.
12:24Respect and service is a great right of parents.
12:29When both of them reach old age, or at the age of one,
12:32you have to bow your shoulders for them.
12:35You have to be gentle.
12:37Do not speak ill of them.
12:39And do not even say the word, Uftaq.
12:42Now, what is the meaning of the word Uftaq?
12:45It is a kind of action, a kind of saying, a kind of behavior,
12:49which becomes a reason for the heartache of parents.
12:52The Holy Qur'an has forbidden it.
12:56And, on the other hand,
12:59if the parents are polytheists, non-Muslims,
13:04you still have to obey them.
13:07Unless they do something, or give a command,
13:13which is against the Qur'an and Sunnah,
13:14then you will not obey them.
13:17On the other hand, if they are non-Muslims,
13:20and they are not related to our religion,
13:22but you have to obey them,
13:24and you have to make no mistake in serving them.
13:29That is, you have to try to fulfill them in every way.
13:32In the Hadith of Tayyaba, it is said that,
13:34Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
13:36In the acceptance of the father, there is acceptance of the Lord.
13:40If the father is upset, then the Lord of the worlds is also upset.
13:43And then there is another hadith,
13:45that Allah has placed paradise at the feet of the mother.
13:50Father and mother, these are two beautiful relationships,
13:54that if someone wakes up in the morning and looks at them with love,
13:58Allah will reward him with a long life.
14:02Peace be upon you.
14:03My name is Muhammad Sarwar,
14:05and my question is that,
14:07in light of the biography of Tayyaba,
14:10what is the importance of a student?
14:13In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Ever Merciful.
14:16The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
14:19I have sent you as a teacher.
14:21The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
14:23I have been sent as a teacher.
14:27And there is another narration,
14:29Whoever follows the path of knowledge, Allah will make it easy for him to reach paradise.
14:34Whoever goes out to acquire knowledge,
14:37Allah will make it easy for him to reach paradise.
14:42And there is another narration,
14:44that when someone goes out to acquire knowledge,
14:47the angels in the heavens spread wings for him.
14:50Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
14:52There are so many virtues of a teacher and a student.
14:58And then, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
15:03The best among you is he who learns the Qur'an and teaches it.
15:11Peace and blessings be upon you.
15:14I am Sayyeda Ismat Batool Naqvi, PhD Scholar.
15:18In light of the biography of Tayyaba,
15:20what are the rights of women and what should be done with them?
15:26In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Ever Merciful.
15:28Allah says in the Holy Qur'an,
15:32That is, the basic principles of the society.
15:41The Holy Qur'an has given them the commandment of the beauty of the society.
15:49That they should be treated well.
15:51This is the reason that we get a hadith from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
15:56which means that the one who brought up three daughters,
16:01took care of their education and upbringing,
16:02then sent them to their homes and got them married,
16:06then he will be with me in heaven.
16:08The Prophet was asked,
16:10If someone has two daughters, he will be with him in heaven.
16:17The main reason why we do not understand the rights of women
16:24is that we have invented some principles and traditions of our own minds.
16:33Unfortunately, we have made them the principles of Islam.
16:36Islam is such a beautiful and bright minaret for women.
16:42Before Islam, girls were buried alive.
16:45Islam has given life to women.
16:48And this is the reason that a woman comes on one occasion,
16:51and the Prophet lays down his camel for her,
16:55and she is said, O Prophet, she is a non-Muslim.
16:58She is the daughter of a disbeliever.
17:00The Prophet said,
17:02A daughter is a daughter, no matter who she belongs to.
17:04This is how much he has blessed her.
17:07And how much did he love Fatima?
17:13He said, Fatima is a part of my heart.
17:15Allahu Akbar.
17:16Tradition says,
17:18Do not give preference to daughters over sons.
17:22If Allah has given sons and daughters,
17:24then should a man love his daughters less or more than his sons?
17:28This is not the case.
17:29In today's society,
17:31the color of a daughter's birth is black.
17:35The Qur'an has already stated,
17:37And if a man loves his daughters less or more than his sons,
17:41then should a man love his daughters less or more than his sons?
17:49Allah has given us the teachings of daughters in the Qur'an,
17:55that a son is from the side of his daughter,
17:57and daughters are the mercy of Allah.
18:01Therefore, a pure and harmonious society is the one
18:04where women's rights are given according to the Shariah.
18:08And the Shariah has set up a beautiful system,
18:12that all the burden is placed on the man,
18:16and the woman is given a peaceful environment,
18:19and there is no burden on her.
18:21It has not made her equal to the man,
18:25so that the work done by the man is done by the woman.
18:27Today, the West is saying,
18:28that equal rights for men and women,
18:31I will make it short,
18:35that if we look at it rationally,
18:37the problem is that if a man is 4 feet tall,
18:41a woman is 5 feet tall, and a man is 2 feet tall,
18:43and they have to look from behind the wall,
18:46this is a 4 feet wall, and this is a 3.5 feet wall,
18:48then the problem is,
18:50that everyone should be given the same height,
18:52so that they can look beyond the wall.
18:54If everyone is given the same height,
18:57that this is a 2 feet square,
18:59and we have to stand on it and look towards the wall,
19:01then this is not equal.
19:03We have to understand rationally,
19:04that the design that Allah has made,
19:07in this design, what are the rights of the man?
19:10To bear the burden,
19:11and what is the responsibility of the woman?
19:12To raise the children,
19:14and when we fulfil these rights,
19:16then God willing, the society will become harmonious.
19:19The rights that have been given to women are very beautiful.
19:22Jazakumullah Khair.
19:23Thank you very much, Maulana Fidaur Rahman Haidri.
19:26Ladies and gentlemen,
19:27the special programme of ARYQ TV,
19:29in the special transmission,
19:31Islam and the youth,
19:33today our topic of discussion was,
19:35that what are the requirements of obedience and obedience of the Holy Prophet?
19:41Maulana Fidaur Rahman Haidri was giving a speech.
19:45Ladies and gentlemen, Maulana gave a sign in his speech.
19:50There were two companions of the Prophet,
19:53there are two different narrations.
19:56One companion of the Prophet's name is,
19:58Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha, may Allah be pleased with him.
20:03And there is a similar narration,
20:05Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood, may Allah be pleased with him.
20:09There is a narration about both of them,
20:11that the Holy Prophet was giving a sermon in the mosque.
20:18Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha, may Allah be pleased with him,
20:20or Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood, may Allah be pleased with him,
20:24were walking towards the mosque to listen to the sermon,
20:27they were very close,
20:29when they heard the voice of the Holy Prophet.
20:33There was a person standing inside the mosque,
20:36so the Holy Prophet addressed him and said,
20:38sit down.
20:41And this voice was heard outside the mosque,
20:45by Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha, may Allah be pleased with him,
20:47and by Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood, may Allah be pleased with him.
20:50They sat there,
20:53they sat outside the mosque.
20:55Someone asked, why did Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha sit here?
20:59The Holy Prophet said, sit down.
21:04The person who said this, said that he said this to a person inside the mosque.
21:10He said, I don't know.
21:11I heard the voice, so I sat down.
21:14He said, if you heard the voice, you should have sat inside the mosque.
21:19He said, no.
21:21From here to the door of the mosque,
21:25there are moments of 10 seconds.
21:28I didn't want these 10 seconds to pass without the obedience of the Holy Prophet.
21:35I sat here.
21:36Ladies and gentlemen, this is called obedience, and this is called obedience.
21:41That not even a second should be delayed in obeying and accepting the command of the Holy Prophet.
21:49Ladies and gentlemen, it was a very beautiful discussion of Maulana Fidaw Rahman Haidri.
21:53And the questions of the listeners were also very interesting,
21:56which were answered by Maulana.
21:58With this, today's program ends with Islam and the youth of ARYQ TV.
22:04Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to take leave of my guest, Dr. Muhammad Tahir Mustafa.
22:08Take care of yourselves. Allah Hafiz.
