00:00The LRT Line 2 was alerted after a short circuit at a station earlier this morning.

00:06The LRTA explained this to Oscar Oida.

00:14Suddenly, there was a slap on the top of the train at LRT 2 J-Rui Station at San Juan 743 this morning.

00:21The train suddenly stopped and the wirings on the top burst.

00:26It was like a 5-star.

00:29It didn't burn or something.

00:31We went outside.

00:32It was a bit strong.

00:34I got scared.

00:35According to LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera,

00:39a short circuit occurred on their line.

00:42It broke. It can't run anymore.

00:44Our trains have an automatic system.

00:47If there's an accident or a technical problem,

00:50it won't run anymore.

00:51The LRT 2 operation was paralyzed

00:54from antipolo to recto,

00:56affecting more than 3,000 passengers.

01:00It's hard to ride it because it's full.

01:03Some of them are already stuck.

01:05It's 9.42 a.m. when the LRT 2 was able to return to full operation.

01:10The LRTA is asking again for clarification on what happened.

01:14There was no sign of an accident on the train's line yesterday.

01:19But the so-called train was the one that caught fire and had an accident last month.

01:25We traced it.

01:26It has something to do with their electrical power system.

01:31We will return the train to the depot and we will check it thoroughly.
