00:00Let's update on the weather with the weather presenter of the GMA Integrated News Weather Center, Amor La Rosa. Amor.

00:11Thank you, Sir Emil.

00:14My fellow countrymen, a new low-pressure area has been detected outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:20It is located in Silangan Puya, extreme northern Luzon.

00:24But for now, it is said that there is a low chance of a typhoon or a storm entering the park.

00:31This also has no effect on any part of the country because it is very far from the Philippines.

00:36Here inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, you will notice the thick clouds here.

00:43It is also in Silangan Puya, Luzon, and those clouds are possible to be low-pressure areas and there is also a chance of a typhoon.

00:52If we look at the wind forecast map of Metro Weather, early next week, there will be another typhoon here in the Pacific Ocean

01:00that will approach and possibly enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:06Based on the circulation shown here, it is possible for a typhoon to enter our boundary.

01:13My fellow countrymen, it can change so we will continue to monitor it for the next few days.

01:20Meanwhile, the former Typhoon Enteng or Typhoon Yagi in the international name,

01:24after it left the Philippine Area of Responsibility, it became even stronger and it is now a super typhoon.

01:31It is still reaching a portion of the country, especially here in the extreme northern Luzon.

01:38It is accompanied by the continuation of its impact on the southwest monsoon or Hanging Habagat.

01:44Based on the data of Metro Weather, there is still a chance of rain tomorrow in western sections of Luzon

01:49including Ilocos Provinces, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan and several parts of Mindoro Provinces.

01:57We expect that there will still be strong rains and by the end of the day,

02:01the rains will be more widespread including Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and other parts of Central Luzon,

02:09Calabar Zone and other parts of Mimaropa.

02:14Parts of Bicol Region will be less rainy.

02:18You can see the red and orange colors in our legend.

02:23It means that there will be strong rains.

02:26It is still possible that there will be floods or landslides.

02:31So be careful and stay alert.

02:33In Visayas and Mindanao, it is clear and there is almost no rain in the morning.

02:38But by the end of the day, there will be heavy rains in Mayaclan, Antique, Negros Island, Cebu and several parts of Mindanao.

02:48We expect that there will be areas where there will be heavy rains

02:54because of the localized thunderstorms that are usually experienced in the afternoon or at night.

03:01And for Metro Manila, it is still possible that there will be heavy rains

03:04but it is possible that it will be less.

03:06And it is possible that the past few days will not last.

03:09But even if it will be less, there will still be heavy rains.
