00:00We'll update you on the weather with the weather presenter of GMA Integrated News Weather Center, Amor La Rosa. Amor!
00:14Thank you, Ms. Pia.
00:15Dear listeners, the storm Enteng is gone but it's still a bad time for some places because of the strong winds.
00:23It was 4 a.m. when the storm Enteng reached the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:29Now, we call it Yagi because of its international name.
00:33It became stronger as a typhoon and it moved west-northwest.
00:37Next, it will hit mainland China.
00:40The movement of the storm is slow that's why the effect of the rain bands is still rampant.
00:45The winds are strong here in our country, especially in the Luzon area.
00:51Because of that, it's possible that it will rain tomorrow in some parts of the country.
00:55Based on the data of Metro Weather, it will rain tomorrow here in Ilocos Provinces as well as in Central and Southern Luzon.
01:03It will continue in the afternoon and it will also rain in some parts of Cabean Valley and Cordillera Region.
01:11We expect that there will be strong rains in some places.
01:15That's why we should be careful about the possibility of floods or landslides.
01:20We expect that there will be rains in some parts of Visayas and Mindanao, especially in the afternoon.
01:26It's possible that there will be heavy rains here in Panay Island, Negros Island Region,
01:33and in the later provinces of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.
01:40In Metro Manila, it's possible that it will rain again tomorrow.
01:44Again, it's possible that there will be landslides or landslides will stop for a while.
01:49But later, it will pour again.
01:51That's why don't forget to bring an umbrella and monitor the advisories of Pag-asa.
01:56Meanwhile, if there's an upcoming storm, let's look at the status of Pag-asa.
02:01This is for this week.
02:03You can see on our map, this is the former storm that is already outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
02:11Here, there are highlighted parts in the area where our country is located.
02:15And there are also here in Miami.
02:17It's a bit far from here.
02:19These are the areas that are experiencing bad weather and there's a chance that it will become a storm.
02:24Here in the Pacific Ocean, there will also be weather disturbance.
02:29And on another map of Pag-asa, this is the period of September 11 to 17.
02:34There will be a new weather disturbance here in the western section of Northern Luzon.
02:40But there's a low chance that it will become a storm.
02:42On the upper part of our Par, it's still high.
02:46There's a chance that it will become a storm.
02:48But it can only reach the northern boundary of our Par.
02:53And on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, it's possible that it will become a storm.
02:57It will move to the northwest until it can enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
03:04So, Kapuso, these are the two areas that we will focus on for the next few days.
03:09According to Pag-asa, for now, these are all cloud clusters.
03:15And because it's still far away, we're not sure if it will become a track.
03:20There's still a lot that can change, so we will continue to monitor for the next few days.
03:25But if it becomes a storm and it enters our Par,
03:30Ferdie and Henner will be the next ones to be named.
03:35And that's the latest news.
03:37I'm Amorla Rosa.
03:38This is the GMA Integrated News Weather Center.
03:41Expect anything, anytime.
