00:00I've had instances where police people are bribed to come and arrest people because of money.
00:07So, I personally do not trust the police in Ghana.
00:10They do actually not have enough money to cater for themselves.
00:14That is why they have to push it to, they have to be corrupt, yeah.
00:20Some of them have to improve because there might be instances where, like, you would need them very much.
00:27That's where they will show their level of unseriousness.
00:30Some of them are not even qualified to be in such positions.
00:34And due to the fact that they are, I don't know, but their family members or other staff are already in the position,
00:43so they're qualified to, you know, understand.
00:46I do trust the Ghana police because, especially after the appointment of the current IGP,
00:51I think they have been proactive in a number of the cases that they handle.
00:55I think they are able to apprehend many of these criminals and people who are involved in, I mean, law-breaking activities.
01:03They are doing well, so I think they are doing well.
01:05And the only thing I would say is that they need to be resourced to be able to do more.
01:09I actually trust the police, yeah, simply because before they were not really in good shape.
01:16But now, you know, due to the good work the IGP is putting in,
01:20and then backings from the president of Ghana too, and then his expertise.
01:23I feel like we are still getting there with regards to vehicles they need.
01:30You know, some stations don't have, some have, some don't.
01:34And well, and then also in the air, you know, aside the military having their helicopters,
01:39I feel like the police can also get some once in a while, do some operations up all over, make some surveillance and all that.
