00:00Before the start of the Great North Run, several participants revealed just what they'd had for breakfast.
00:05What have you had for breakfast this morning?
00:07Probably not enough is the answer. I've had some yoghurt and some fruit and a crumpet.
00:13I've got a banana on standby.
00:15What have you had for breakfast this morning?
00:17I've had a pungent enough oat flakes and a coffee.
00:20But I did also have a 6am start with my little one, giving her a hootie and a bix.
00:25So I've been up a little while.
00:26What have you had for breakfast this morning?
00:28OK, so I made a big bowl of porridge, like a big bowl.
00:32And I had peanut butter in, which I know is a little bit controversial.
00:36But peanut butter, because it's got loads of extra fibre in and just kind of energy to sustain it a bit longer.
00:41Chopped a banana in it. Half past six when I left the house, it was a little bit too early.
00:44So I put it in a Chabot pot and I ate it in the taxi about half past seven.
00:48What have you had for breakfast this morning and how has it got you fuelled ready?
00:51So I had some granola with Greek yoghurt. This is very serious.
00:54I had some granola with Greek yoghurt on top and banana, a bit of coffee.
