00:00So, the restaurant idea came because, you know, I was working with a company called
00:21Mila in the U.S., so they do frozen dumplings that they ship to people.
00:26And I really enjoyed the entrepreneurship side of things, where I have this YouTube
00:32channel, I have this social media reach.
00:34How do I use that to get people to experience, you know, the food I like, right?
00:39So I had a really great time there, trying to be creative, how to market this product
00:44together with the team at Mila, who are based in Seattle.
00:48So I was thinking to myself, okay, this is really fun, but Mila only ships in the U.S.,
00:53so how do I reach more people?
00:56And I got to know a few people who run restaurants in Malaysia.
00:59I started talking with them, and I was thinking to myself, this could be kind of cool, right?
01:03Like, starting an Uncle Roger restaurant to have creative input and recipe input on this
01:10endeavor, and Uncle Roger as a character, I think, lends itself well to make it a very
01:16stylized restaurant with a cohesive theme.
01:19So I just think, let's give it a shot.
01:22We started talking, I started talking with the restaurant operator person, he seems to
01:27know what he's doing, and we just kept bouncing ideas back and forth, and then the restaurant
01:31idea was born.
01:32And we just decided to give it a go and see where it takes us.
