00:07for farmers, fishermen, and livestock grazers in the province of Ilocos Norte.

00:23this is just a recognition of the contribution of the agricultural sector in ensuring food security in the country.

00:34President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. delivered various services to the residents of Ilocos Norte

00:40in celebration of the 107th birthday of his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr.

00:46The President himself led the distribution of agricultural, fishery, and veterinary interventions

00:51to the farmers, fishermen, and livestock grazers of Ilocos Norte.

00:55These include machinery, seedlings, fertilizers, and fuel subsidies,

01:00as well as the solar-powered irrigation system for the farmer associations.

01:04The total of P157.95 million is worth it

01:09for the interventions provided by the DA and the government of the province of Ilocos Norte.

01:14We are going through a very difficult time.

01:19We haven't seen any rain for six months.

01:22There are a lot of difficulties, a lot of damage,

01:27and that's why our farmers and fishermen need a lot of help.

01:35In addition to the executive board,

01:37it will provide assistance in the development of farmers and fishermen.

01:41It is also a recognition of their contribution in ensuring the food security of the country.

02:14under the Kapos Angkita Program for District 1 of Ilocos Norte

02:18where 7,000 people received assistance worth P5,000.

02:33For the daily expenses of buying rice and vegetables.

02:37In total, P35 million was distributed to qualified beneficiaries.
