00:00:15as Arthur Abraham takes on Jermaine Taylor
00:00:17and Carl Froch faces Andre Durell.
00:00:20The Super Six World Boxing Classic.
00:00:24Coming up, only on Showtime.
00:00:30This is Showtime Sports.
00:01:01Tonight, a new era in the sport of boxing.
00:01:05A groundbreaking tournament
00:01:07with the six best super middleweights in the world.
00:01:10Two world champions.
00:01:13Two former champions.
00:01:15And a pair of the most promising undefeated contenders
00:01:18are risking their titles, their reputations,
00:01:22and their futures.
00:01:24Only one will emerge the winner,
00:01:26be declared the best of the best,
00:01:29and the champion of the Super Six World Boxing Classic.
00:01:39Tonight begins the Super Six World Boxing Classic
00:01:42with an international doubleheader.
00:01:45From Berlin, Germany, a clash of middleweight stars
00:01:48as Arthur Abraham squares off with American Jermaine Taylor.
00:01:52And from Nottingham, England, a battle of undefeated fighters
00:01:56as British hero Carl Froch takes on American phenom Andre Durell.
00:02:01It's the Super Six World Boxing Classic
00:02:04tonight on Showtime.
00:02:09Hello, everybody. I'm Gus Johnson here in Nottingham, England.
00:02:12This championship trophy for the Super Six World Boxing Classic
00:02:17is the prize, along with worldwide recognition
00:02:20and prestige for the tournament winner.
00:02:22Beginning tonight and in the coming months,
00:02:24six of the best super middleweights in the world
00:02:27will face each other in a modified round-robin format.
00:02:30Four will advance to the semifinals,
00:02:32which will be single elimination,
00:02:34and two survivors will punch it out for this championship trophy.
00:02:39The winner of this unique and compelling tournament
00:02:41will be heralded as the best super middleweight in the world.
00:02:46I'm happy to be joined by two expert analysts.
00:02:49My partner is always Al Bernstein,
00:02:52and we'd also like to welcome
00:02:54former light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver.
00:02:57And, gentlemen, after months of complex planning
00:02:59and extensive preparation by the promoters and the six boxers,
00:03:03tonight it all begins.
00:03:06After tonight's doubleheader, stage one is completed
00:03:09when Mikkel Kessler faces undefeated Andre Ward
00:03:12November 21st in the United States.
00:03:15Yeah, and that Kessler-Ward fight might well feature
00:03:17the two best ring technicians, I think, in the tournament.
00:03:20Kessler, one of the favorites,
00:03:22and Ward peaking at the right time.
00:03:25Stage two has Arthur Abraham fighting Andre Durrell.
00:03:29And in a potential title unification bout,
00:03:31WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler
00:03:34against WBC super middleweight champ Karl Froch.
00:03:37Lots of excitement in that stage.
00:03:39Kessler and Froch, that's a fight that is going to resonate in Europe,
00:03:42especially if those two fighters win their initial fights,
00:03:46and this becomes a title unification match.
00:03:49Arthur Abraham has to come to America to face Durrell,
00:03:52and Taylor Ward, I tell you guys, that's going to be a shootout.
00:03:55Stage three has the two Andres facing off,
00:03:58Andre Durrell against Andre Ward, another European showdown,
00:04:01as Arthur Abraham fights Karl Froch,
00:04:04and it's Denmark versus the United States
00:04:07as Mikkel Kessler meets Jermaine Taylor.
00:04:09The unique thing about that stage, I think,
00:04:11is that the two Olympic teammates and friends, Ward and Durrell,
00:04:15they're finally going to meet in the ring,
00:04:17and how could Karl Froch and Arthur Abraham be anything but a war?
00:04:21The group stage winners are awarded with two points for a victory
00:04:25and a one-point bonus for a knockout or TKO.
00:04:28In the event of a draw, each fighter will receive one point.
00:04:31After the group stage, the four fighters with the highest point totals
00:04:35will advance to the single elimination semifinals.
00:04:38The winners of the semifinal bouts will advance to the finals
00:04:42and fight for the inaugural Super 6 World Boxing Classic Cup.
00:04:48And tonight's bouts and all the bouts in this Super 6 tournament
00:04:52will be governed by the unified rules of boxing.
00:04:55One of the key things there are the no three knockdown rule.
00:04:58Of course, the big powerful punchers in this competition,
00:05:01and we may see that come into play, and also an important one,
00:05:04that if there's a clash of heads or something else that causes a cut,
00:05:08after four rounds, they would go to the scorecards
00:05:11or it would be a no decision.
00:05:14Well, Antonio, you know, this type of tournament is really uncharted territory
00:05:18for everyone, especially the boxers.
00:05:20How does a fighter approach this correctly?
00:05:23Well, I think from a fighter's perspective,
00:05:25they must approach this as an individual fight,
00:05:28not be distracted with what's going on in Stage 2 and Stage 3.
00:05:31Because of the point system, they can find themselves
00:05:34in need of a desperation knockout just to advance to the semifinals.
00:05:38And, gentlemen, can this unique tournament concept
00:05:41to determine the best super middleweight in the world
00:05:44revolutionize the sport of boxing?
00:05:46You know, Gus, I kind of see it as more evolutionary than revolutionary
00:05:50because, to me, this is a natural outgrowth of the renaissance of boxing
00:05:54in the last five or six years where we've had great product in the sport.
00:05:58And I think this tournament is important because it will institutionalize
00:06:02great fights over the next coming months in boxing's most talented division.
00:06:07And, Antonio, I can't wait to see it start.
00:06:09Neither can I. And I also feel that it can revolutionize
00:06:12because of the results from the Super 6.
00:06:15Let's face it, with all the attention that the Super 6 is gaining,
00:06:18these two fighters of the finals will be household names
00:06:21and become pure superstars in the sport of boxing.
00:06:24All right, with that in mind, six fighters competing in this tournament,
00:06:28sports analyst Danny Sheridan has set the odds for the field.
00:06:32Yeah, and if there is any surprise at all,
00:06:34it might be that Arthur Abraham is a co-favorite with Mikkel Kessler.
00:06:38Obviously, the three Americans are the underdogs,
00:06:41but they have said publicly this kind of feeling, being the underdog,
00:06:46makes them more motivated to win.
00:06:50All right, while I'm working with Al Bernstein and Antonio Tarver,
00:06:53we're about an hour away from our main event here in Nottingham.
00:06:57And standing by in Berlin, ready to go for the Abraham-Taylor fight,
00:07:01Steve Albert and Steve Farhood.
00:07:04And Steve, as we begin the Super 6 World Boxing Classic,
00:07:07two Americans find themselves on the road.
00:07:12Yeah, that's right, Gus. Like Andre Durrell there in Nottingham, England,
00:07:16Jermaine Taylor is coming into a hostile environment here in Berlin.
00:07:20The undefeated but untested Durrell and the battle-hardened,
00:07:24highly decorated Taylor.
00:07:26And, you know, the stakes may be even higher for Taylor.
00:07:29He's at a career crossroads,
00:07:31especially after his heartbreaking 12th-round knockout loss
00:07:34to Carl Froch last April.
00:07:38Yeah, Gus, Taylor, as you know,
00:07:40led on the judges' scorecards at the time of that knockout.
00:07:43And tonight, he'll have another difficult assignment
00:07:46against the undefeated Arthur Abraham,
00:07:49who says he will be very, very motivated by the hometown crowd.
00:07:53The hard-hitting Abraham is one of four unbeaten fighters in this tournament.
00:07:57He certainly has a sense of invincibility,
00:08:00especially here in Berlin, where he's won 28 of his 30 fights.
00:08:04He has never tasted the canvas, and most of his fights not even close.
00:08:08And who can forget his courageous victory over Edison Miranda,
00:08:12where he fought for eight torrid rounds with a broken jaw.
00:08:15That said, he cannot match Jermaine Taylor's level of opposition
00:08:19in this collision of two former middleweight champions.
00:08:23And with that, let me bring on my ringside partners,
00:08:25Steve Farhad and Steve.
00:08:26Abraham has been insolvable up to this point.
00:08:29For Taylor to win, what has to be the difference?
00:08:32Don't get tired.
00:08:34I don't doubt for a minute, Steve, that Jermaine Taylor
00:08:36has the physical ability to box with Arthur Abraham,
00:08:39if not outright beat him.
00:08:40But fatigue has been a real problem in recent fights.
00:08:43If it's just a physical problem,
00:08:45it's solvable with nutrition, training, et cetera.
00:08:48If it's in his head, it's a bigger problem.
00:08:50He will have trouble going 12 tough rounds,
00:08:52taking 12 rounds of punishment.
00:08:54And if that's the case,
00:08:55you don't want to be in the ring with Arthur Abraham.
00:08:57What is the significance of this tournament to each fighter, Steve?
00:09:00Well, tremendous opportunity, Steve.
00:09:02Arthur Abraham made 10 successful defenses of a middleweight title,
00:09:05but he hasn't yet had a defining fight.
00:09:07And the Super 6 gives him the opportunity to secure one,
00:09:10if not more than one.
00:09:12Abraham wants to further prove himself in America.
00:09:14He wants to be remembered as a superstar, of which there are few,
00:09:17and not just a belt holder, of which there are many.
00:09:20And the Super 6 is his launching pad.
00:09:23Jermaine Taylor,
00:09:24it's not accurate to call him a disappointment inside the ring
00:09:27because he twice beat Bernard Hopkins,
00:09:29and he's only one of two fighters
00:09:31to simultaneously hold the titles of all four major sanctioning organizations.
00:09:35As for outside the ring,
00:09:37I always thought Taylor had the stuff to be a crossover star
00:09:40who transcended boxing.
00:09:41That hasn't happened, and maybe it's too late.
00:09:44But the Super 6 gives him one last chance.
00:09:46Well, Jermaine Taylor yearns to recapture the aura of his glory days
00:09:51Abraham begins his quest to become a global star.
00:09:54So much rides on this fight and this Super 6 tournament,
00:09:58and it all begins tonight.
00:10:02Two years of my life in this tournament
00:10:04is the most important two years of my life, I feel like.
00:10:07Every boxer boxing for world championship is very dangerous.
00:10:12My next fight with Taylor, for me, very hard fight.
00:10:17A win in Germany, that means everything.
00:10:20Jermaine Taylor is a legendary boxer.
00:10:23I go to win first for me, and after for Germany, for everybody.
00:10:27People think that he's great.
00:10:29He's undefeated, now you know he's coming in my weight class.
00:10:32And after I beat him, maybe I can get my respect back
00:10:34that I want so bad.
00:10:35I want to have big career in America.
00:10:38You can win, win, win, you have a good name.
00:10:41You can see tonight who is smarter in ring.
00:10:45I want to send a statement.
00:10:46You don't want none of this.
00:10:48I'm still hungry.
00:10:50I am too hungry.
00:10:51I won't win against Taylor.
00:10:53I just know what it takes.
00:10:55I can have boxing.
00:10:56I'm more experienced.
00:10:59I need to fight, and I need to be clever.
00:11:03Only win, only win.
00:11:05I fought the best in the world.
00:11:07I'm not worried about nobody in the tournament.
00:11:18Berlin.
00:11:42Let's get this party started.
00:11:46Coming to the ring first,
00:11:48Jermaine
00:11:50Bad Intentions
00:11:52Hill!
00:12:17So this sell-out crowd of 14,000
00:12:21ready to greet the two fighters
00:12:23fighting outside the U.S.
00:12:25for the first time since the 2000 Sydney Olympics
00:12:28the pride of Little Rock, Arkansas
00:12:32Undisputed former middleweight champion Jermaine Taylor
00:12:40He's got the best resume in this tournament
00:12:43but he's lost three of his last four
00:12:45two by knockout
00:12:46more than a 2-1 underdog tonight
00:12:49against Arthur Abraham
00:12:51written off by a lot of people
00:12:53but he insists he's not done
00:12:55despite the dreaded stamina problem
00:12:58which he said was rectified
00:13:00by completely overhauling his training
00:13:02and dietary habits
00:13:04but if this goes deep
00:13:05will he run out of gas
00:13:07as he did with Karl Fratsch
00:13:09and Kelly Pavlin, Steve?
00:13:11Well, Steve, he's certainly given himself
00:13:13the best chance to win
00:13:14For the Fratsch fight
00:13:15he had to lose 20 pounds in 20 days
00:13:18This fight, he's basically been on weight
00:13:20since he got to Berlin
00:13:21and a nutritionist made all the difference
00:13:24Perhaps the most compelling story
00:13:26in the Super 6
00:13:27the biggest name in the tournament
00:13:30yet he probably has the most to lose
00:13:33a win and his career is back on track
00:13:35Yeah, the most to gain, too
00:13:39That being said
00:13:40because he's not expected to win
00:13:42maybe it takes some of the pressure off
00:13:44allowing him to fight relaxed
00:13:46which is when Jermaine Taylor
00:13:49is at his best
00:13:54So the veteran Jermaine Taylor
00:13:56makes it into the ring
00:13:58for the start of the Super 6
00:14:01The fans are ready for this
00:14:03hotly anticipated tournament
00:14:05on a cool, damp night in Berlin, Germany
00:14:08And they are getting ready
00:14:09to cheer on their king
00:14:10Arthur Abraham
00:14:11who's revered here in Berlin
00:14:13his home for the past 15 years
00:14:15as Taylor may have to wait a while, Steve
00:14:19because they are planning
00:14:20a very elaborate pre-fight entrance
00:14:24So the excitement
00:14:26and the electricity
00:14:27is very high for our co-main event
00:14:29and the kick-off to Stage 1
00:14:31of the Super 6 World Boxing Classic
00:14:34It's going to be a tough fight
00:14:37There's always excitement in Germany
00:14:39when Arthur Abraham fights, Steve
00:14:41but this tournament
00:14:42has captured the imagination of this city
00:14:44as a result
00:14:45there's more electricity than usual
00:14:47A party atmosphere, Steve
00:14:49no question about that
00:14:52And now, ladies and gentlemen
00:14:54coming to the ring
00:14:56to the music of the Scorpions
00:14:58with 3, 2, 1
00:15:01King Arthur Abraham

00:15:35Those are the eyes I need
00:15:37when I crush you, babe
00:15:42Oh, it makes you feel so
00:15:46It's a curse born out of me

00:16:26It's a jungle laughter
00:16:31Let me find it in your eyes
00:16:34When we fall
00:16:36For we're wild and wise
00:16:41In a sea of laughter
00:16:45Do it gently in my soul
00:16:49Let me see your hands
00:16:51in the air
00:16:55Save me from the world

00:17:16I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I
00:17:46I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to rock, I'm ready to
00:17:55well what else can you say but a ring entrance fit for a king hometown hero
00:18:02king Arthur Abraham getting the rock star treatment from the fans and the
00:18:08scorpions here in Germany, but longing to be discovered by America.
00:18:15The Armenian born Berletta, supremely confident,
00:18:18which comes from a granite chin, punishing power
00:18:22and a never surrender mentality.
00:18:30And Steve, I've been watching Jermaine Taylor the whole time
00:18:33during this elaborate five minute ring walk for Abraham.
00:18:36He's not moving nonstop, shadow boxing.
00:18:39Very important that he does that right now.
00:18:41He's kind of calmed down, but he will not be caught cold.
00:18:44And that's very important.
00:18:45You have a long wait in the ring.
00:18:54Abraham salutes the crowd.
00:18:59They love him here in Berlin.
00:19:01Let's size them up as we go to the tail of the tape.
00:19:04Both relatively new to 168, both relieved
00:19:08because they had struggled so mightily and so long to make 160.
00:19:11Both said they'd be about 175 tonight.
00:19:16And Abraham has long arms for a guy, five, nine,
00:19:20so not a major disparity in reach.
00:19:23Let's go back to Michael Buffer for the formal introduction.
00:19:31Ladies and gentlemen, meine Damen und Herren, willkommen.
00:19:36Welcome to O2 World Berlin

00:20:14And inside the ring, your referee in charge of the action
00:20:19from Mexico, Guadalupe Garcia.
00:20:23And now may the best fighter emerge victorious.
00:20:28Ladies and gentlemen, aus Berlin.
00:20:33Let's get ready to rumble.
00:20:44Fighting out of the blue corner, official weight
00:20:4776.2 kilograms or 168 pounds.
00:20:52A perfect professional record consisting of 30 fights,
00:20:5630 victories, including 24 knockouts.
00:21:00Meine Damen und Herren, aus Berlin, the former undefeated
00:21:05IBF middleweight champion of the world,
00:21:09King Ato Amraha.
00:21:18And fighting out of the red corner, wearing razorback red, official weight
00:21:3075.4 kilograms, 166 one quarter pounds.
00:21:36Professional record, an excellent one, 32 fights, 28 victories,
00:21:40including 70 knockouts with three defeats and one bout even.
00:21:45He's the fighting bride of Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, the former
00:21:51undisputed middleweight champion of the world, Jermaine, Bad Intentions, Hale.
00:22:15OK, I already gave you the address in the dressing room.
00:22:25I want a clean fight.
00:22:26Remember, this is the line where the low blows are legal.
00:22:29Good luck, check the gloves, and go to your corners.
00:22:37That is a super six staredown, 14,000 strong at the O2 Berlin.
00:22:44Taylor said there'd be more pressure on Abraham to perform well in front of his
00:22:48hometown crowd.
00:22:49We'll see who will draw first blood in the super six.
00:22:53Will Arthur Abraham, a notoriously slow starter, lay back in his defensive shell,
00:22:59or will he come out aggressively?
00:23:01Will he wait to see what Jermaine Taylor does?
00:23:04Here we go, Lupe Garcia brings them together.
00:23:07We are underway in the super six world boxing classic from Berlin.
00:23:12Taylor said he'll box when there's any opportunity, he'll jab right through.
00:23:18Really important to keep Abraham at the end of the jab.
00:23:22Big right hand missing by Taylor.
00:23:24You don't want to get too close to Arthur Abraham, a very hard puncher, extremely
00:23:29strong, better skills than a lot of people think.
00:23:32So tough physically and mentally.
00:23:34And remember, never lost, never down, and fighting at home.
00:23:38Strategy-wise, Steve, it's very important if Arthur Abraham is going to keep his peek-a-boo
00:23:43defense like that, that Taylor punch and land some jabs, punch through the gloves like he
00:23:49did with Winky Wright, score points, because if Abraham's going to let you score points,
00:23:52you have to put the rounds in the bank.
00:23:55Taylor in the red, very athletic.
00:23:57He's got the fast hands, the height and reach, the experience.
00:24:01Not easy to outclass Taylor.
00:24:03Big question, can he get it done with the right hand?
00:24:06Outclassed Taylor, big question, can he get it done without burning himself out?
00:24:11Now, Taylor with a left hook that's grabbed by the right glove of Abraham.
00:24:16Taylor can also fight.
00:24:18He won't back down.
00:24:19Terrific right hand.
00:24:20He dropped Karl Fratsch early, and Fratsch has a great chin, but can he hurt Abraham?
00:24:26The thing is, you don't want to get into big exchanges with Arthur Abraham.
00:24:31He's got to outwork King Arthur.
00:24:33Here's a combination followed by another heavy right by Abraham, jabbed back by Taylor.
00:24:40Wide shots from Abraham.
00:24:42Taylor did not respond well to that wide right hand.
00:24:46Usually his left hook is wide when you can answer back with a straight right down the
00:24:51middle on the inside.
00:24:53We'll see if Taylor does that.
00:24:55Taylor has a habit of holding his left hand low.
00:24:58You've got to be cognizant of that.
00:25:00If you're Arthur Abraham, he can launch a right.
00:25:07Taylor going to the body.
00:25:10And that's a good move, Steve, because if Abraham's going to hold his gloves by his
00:25:13head, the body is there to be hit.
00:25:15Taylor's camp feels Abraham is protected here at home by the refs, particularly with body
00:25:20shots. They feel Abraham doesn't like body shots, and he does leave himself a little
00:25:26space there with that peek-a-boo defense.
00:25:30They think, the Taylor camp, that the refs will warn opponents for low blows when they're
00:25:35legal. A major bone of contention with Taylor's promoter, Lou DiBella.
00:25:44Taylor fights best when he's relaxed, Steve, and he seems to be pretty relaxed right here.
00:25:48Well, he's using the ring well.
00:25:49He wants distance.
00:25:51He wants this to be an outside fight, and so far it has been.
00:25:54Showing head for the bell, round one, good left hand there, near the bell by Jermaine
00:25:59Taylor.
00:26:08Kingston victory for Arthur Abraham, force the pace early, make Taylor work throughout
00:26:12the fight is the best way to get him fatigued.
00:26:14Use the jab.
00:26:15It's a legit weapon, and Abraham's shown it to be effective versus brawler opponents.
00:26:20He's for Jermaine Taylor, stay off the ropes.
00:26:22If Taylor backs off, it's a sure sign that his legs are going.
00:26:26Lots of rights.
00:26:27In spots, Abraham will let Taylor punch.
00:26:29Taylor should take advantage.
00:26:30And finish the work.
00:26:31Taylor dropped both Pavlik and Fratch, didn't finish either, and lost both fights.
00:26:40It's a good fight.
00:26:41It's a good fight.
00:26:42It's a good fight.
00:26:43It's a good fight.
00:26:44It's a good fight.
00:26:45It's a good fight.
00:26:46It's a good fight.
00:26:47It's a good fight.
00:26:48It's a good fight.
00:26:50It's a good fight.
00:27:01Wide right hand by Abraham, as his brother looks on.
00:27:04He doesn't like what he sees, but it wasn't any reaction to that right hand that landed
00:27:07flush.
00:27:11His younger brother Alex, a fine junior middleweight, who's 25-0-1.
00:27:15Round two.
00:27:16Jermaine Taylor comes out jabbing.
00:27:20Crowd getting behind Arthur Abraham,
00:27:26whose unusual style is designed to wear you out,
00:27:30to make you expend energy, that guard up high,
00:27:33his version of the rope-a-dope.
00:27:36And it's critical for Taylor to punch,
00:27:38even if he doesn't land,
00:27:39because Abraham's punch output is so slim, Steve,
00:27:42in these early rounds, that Taylor will win
00:27:44just by on volume and just by punching
00:27:46whether he lands or not.
00:27:47Are you intrigued that nobody has figured out
00:27:49a way to outpoint Abraham?
00:27:50I'm very intrigued, because his fights
00:27:52haven't really even been close here in Germany.
00:27:54He does bring a puzzling style.
00:27:56You don't know if he's gonna lay back or brawl.
00:27:59And he can uncoil out of that defensive shield
00:28:02quickly and explosively.
00:28:05And it's not easy to get a decision here in Germany.
00:28:10With that in mind, as Jermaine Taylor goes for the body,
00:28:14but now Arthur Abraham framing low blow.
00:28:17We discussed and we talked about this before,
00:28:20and this a major concern of the Jermaine Taylor camp.
00:28:25But that was a low blow.
00:28:27Steve, the replay shows it all.
00:28:29That was definitely a low blow.
00:28:32And he is being cautioned
00:28:34by the referee, Guadalupe Garcia.
00:28:39This was an issue at the rules meeting, Steve.
00:28:41I attended it, and they had a long argument
00:28:44about what makes a low blow.
00:28:45Well, that was a low blow.
00:28:47Well, if you saw the first Edison-Miranda fight,
00:28:51that was a familiar sight.
00:28:55So we resume.
00:28:57Steve, it's interesting. Taylor's jabbing much more,
00:28:59but Abraham is really making his jabs count.
00:29:01Very accurate as a puncher
00:29:03with his jabs and his power shots, both.
00:29:06Abraham, a very smart fighter.
00:29:08He's so adaptable.
00:29:09There's the right-left combination.
00:29:10The left got through the guard of Taylor.
00:29:14There's that jab once again by Abraham.
00:29:17Yes, the jab, very effective by Arthur Abraham.
00:29:20Taylor does have a very good jab.
00:29:22It's not just a probing, range-fighting jab,
00:29:25but an effective weapon.
00:29:32Good uppercut on the inside by Taylor.
00:29:35Another one, followed by a left hook to the head.
00:29:38And here comes Abraham, shaking his head
00:29:41as if to say, it didn't hurt me,
00:29:43or he's upset with himself.
00:29:45And the referee signaled with his hands to Taylor,
00:29:48keep the punches up.
00:29:49Taylor doesn't want to back himself into a corner
00:29:51with too many warnings this early.
00:29:53And just as he told us he would do,
00:29:56he is jabbing away at Arthur Abraham,
00:29:59and it is effective.
00:30:03Good part of the round for Taylor.
00:30:04Missed with that sweeping left hook.
00:30:06Good uppercut.
00:30:08Didn't bother Taylor.
00:30:13Those jabs being blocked by the gloves of Abraham.
00:30:17So hard to get through that defense.
00:30:20Here comes Abraham, popping shots off Taylor's head,
00:30:26and he's claiming to Garcia,
00:30:27those punches were in the back of the head
00:30:30and therefore illegal.
00:30:33And now he is saying that to Abraham.
00:30:35And that's how tactics here are the early going, Steve.
00:30:39Well, you see it there, Abraham pouring it on.
00:30:42The fight starts as usual when Arthur Abraham says it starts.
00:30:45And that was two right hands to the back of the head, Steve.
00:30:47Very much so.
00:31:02Just concentrate yourself.
00:31:04Stay cool.
00:31:16Okay, so you've got to make the next round.
00:31:18The next round is for you.
00:31:19You've got to make it.
00:31:24The giant, Mr. Valuet,
00:31:29one of the heavyweight champions on hand here tonight.
00:31:34Round three.
00:31:36Did you see Taylor winning the first two?
00:31:38I did. The second round was much closer.
00:31:40Abraham poured it on a little bit
00:31:42in the second half of that round,
00:31:43but I gave Taylor both mostly on volume punching, Steve.
00:31:46And, Steve, it's not out of the ordinary for Abraham,
00:31:48who often fights at his own pace,
00:31:51to be down in the first two, three rounds.
00:31:54But he does have a way of taking over historically.
00:31:57We'll see how it unfolds tonight.
00:32:00Abraham is fighting the kind of fight, or at least, Steve,
00:32:03that it's pretty clear he's counting
00:32:05on the second half of the fight
00:32:07to pour it on and make Taylor fold.
00:32:12And historically, particularly of late,
00:32:14that has been the big problem for Jermaine Taylor,
00:32:16and Taylor knows it.
00:32:18We asked him about that in the fighter meeting yesterday,
00:32:20and he did say, yeah, he feels that Abraham's probably
00:32:24gonna try to take this deep,
00:32:26try to wear him out, wear him down,
00:32:28make him tired, see if he runs out of gas,
00:32:32test his endurance.
00:32:33Hard body shots by Abraham.
00:32:36And then you go in for the late knockout
00:32:38if you're Arthur Abraham.
00:32:42Nice move by Abraham, that combination punching,
00:32:45and then he took a step out and to the side.
00:32:47Taylor's counterpunch missed by miles.
00:32:50And Arthur Abraham, dangerous from start to finish,
00:32:52and when he has you in trouble, if he smells blood,
00:32:55that's when he really has you in trouble.
00:32:59Turns up the aggression.
00:33:00Again, Taylor using that jab to try to keep distance.
00:33:09But those punches are not effective.
00:33:12They're being blocked by Abraham's gloves,
00:33:15who's in that peek-a-boo style there.
00:33:20And again, all this makes you expend a lot of energy,
00:33:24and if you get Jermaine Taylor, that's not what you want.
00:33:28And Taylor revamped his training,
00:33:31but you made a great point earlier saying,
00:33:33is it more physical or mental?
00:33:36And maybe we'll find that out tonight.
00:33:38You saw an interesting move there by Taylor.
00:33:40He stepped inside when Abraham punched.
00:33:42Abraham punches wide.
00:33:43You're safer when you're in close.
00:33:45Plus, Abraham isn't an infighter.
00:33:47He doesn't like fighting on the inside,
00:33:48surprisingly, given his lack of height.
00:33:51Missing with a wild right, Arthur Abraham.
00:33:54Abraham only 5'9", but as we said earlier...
00:33:57The head of Jermaine Taylor at 5'9".
00:34:00Abraham's got long arms.
00:34:07Again, the jab by Taylor pushing Abraham back.
00:34:10You want to try to push Abraham back to the ropes
00:34:12because when he's on the ropes, he usually doesn't punch,
00:34:15and that's when you can really outwork him.
00:34:17Heavy right hand there to the head by Abraham.
00:34:19He's scoring now in round three.
00:34:21He's starting to come alive.
00:34:22And every one of those right hands is from the side.
00:34:27And now Jermaine Taylor...
00:34:32Upset because of punches to the back of the head.
00:34:35Once again, at the bell.
00:34:39Mikkel Kessler on hand.
00:34:41The WBA super middleweight champ will be fighting Andre Ward
00:34:46November 21st at Oakland in the Super 6.
00:34:50Good job. You hit your side of the head, you hit the back.
00:34:53Don't take nothing.
00:34:54Get that ground.
00:34:56Remember, Taylor, they want a clean fight, okay?
00:34:58Yes, sir.
00:35:00Hey, start going away from the right hand.
00:35:04Angle, get an angle.
00:35:06Jermaine, if he ever starts thinking about
00:35:08dropping that left hand, use the right.
00:35:10But you got to go toward the right.
00:35:13Nice round. Nice round.
00:35:15Don't let him get too close.
00:35:16As soon as you try to go for the center,
00:35:18he's got to chop.
00:35:21Oh, my God!
00:35:23Oh, my God! Oh, my God!
00:35:26Oh, my God! Oh, my God!
00:35:29Oh, my God!
00:35:32So, Arthur Abraham, who may be in a 3-0 hole here,
00:35:36has to answer.
00:35:38Jermaine Taylor, who came out exploding
00:35:41from the blocks there to begin round three.
00:35:45And he looks very determined now.
00:35:47He is really ticked off at Arthur Abraham
00:35:52for the shots behind the head.
00:35:55And he comes out fast here in round three.
00:35:58Well, tough rounds for the judges, two and three,
00:36:01because Abraham punching less often, more effectively.
00:36:04Taylor, more often, less effectively.
00:36:06Beg your pardon, round four.
00:36:09And again, a warning from Lupe Garcia
00:36:14for the low blow by Jermaine Taylor.
00:36:23Abraham in no hurry, very deliberate.
00:36:29Going to the body with that...
00:36:31Oh, my God!
00:36:33Oh, my God!
00:36:36Going to the body with that punishing blow.
00:36:40-♪
00:36:42-♪
00:36:46-♪
00:36:50They told him to use the right more in the corner,
00:36:52and he is. Jermaine Taylor
00:36:55setting it up with the jab.
00:36:57The right hand block there.
00:37:00Taylor can't get too happy.
00:37:01What I mean by that, Steve, is when he punches,
00:37:03he has to keep moving to the side.
00:37:05That'll take away Abraham's counterpunch now.
00:37:07The thing is, though, Steve,
00:37:08he's more of a flat-footed fighter
00:37:10who moves backward and forward,
00:37:12and there was an off-balance issue for Abraham.
00:37:16He's not really a side-to-side guy,
00:37:17but he's gonna have to adapt here against Abraham.
00:37:20-♪
00:37:25-♪
00:37:30Developing into a very interesting fight here
00:37:33in the early going.
00:37:36Not much of a first minute of this round 4 for Abraham.
00:37:39He's done almost nothing.
00:37:41-♪
00:37:47But again, he doesn't really concern himself that much
00:37:50about digging an early hole because,
00:37:52as you mentioned rightly so before,
00:37:56he really turns it up in the second half of the fight.
00:37:58Exactly. As I said when he fought Mahir O'Reil on Showtime,
00:38:02the fight starts when Arthur Abraham says the fight starts.
00:38:06He put O'Reil down in that tune-up five times.
00:38:09-♪
00:38:12And O'Reil carried his left hand very low
00:38:15like Jermaine Taylor.
00:38:16Of course, Mahir O'Reil is not Jermaine Taylor,
00:38:19but there is that similarity.
00:38:20We'll see if he becomes a factor.
00:38:22-♪
00:38:29A chippy fight.
00:38:30Oh, no!
00:38:33And they do touch gloves.
00:38:37Wilfred Sauerland, the promoter of Arthur Abraham
00:38:41and part of this crowd of 14,000 enjoying the reaction.
00:38:46-♪
00:38:53-♪
00:38:58-♪
00:39:04Stay in the middle. Stay in the middle.
00:39:06Do some action, okay?
00:39:08Okay, just keep yourself stabilized, please.
00:39:13Okay, you can make it. You can make it.
00:39:15Just trust yourself.
00:39:18Okay, you make to need to do some action, okay?
00:39:23Action from round four.
00:39:27Is that another right hand behind the head by Abraham?
00:39:32Our thanks to our translator, Alexander Stepitot,
00:39:35and our thanks to ARD Television here in Germany
00:39:38and all the terrific production people
00:39:40assisting us with the telecast tonight.
00:39:46Round five.
00:39:47Abraham, some swelling over the right eye.
00:39:49He's really not a bleeder.
00:39:50He has had swelling problems,
00:39:52but hasn't bled in too many fights.
00:39:57You're talking about Abraham?
00:39:58Yes.
00:40:00With the exception of that first Miranda fight,
00:40:02but that was from the inside of the mouth
00:40:04when the blood was pouring out.
00:40:05His face was disfigured
00:40:07because his jaw was broken against Miranda,
00:40:10but the blood was coming from a laceration
00:40:12on the inside of the mouth.
00:40:17Abraham's been very effective with that jab.
00:40:19Interesting to see if he starts using it more.
00:40:23But the punch that's landed repeatedly for him
00:40:25is the wide right hand.
00:40:27Hasn't thrown him much in the last couple of rounds.
00:40:33Abraham able to elude the jabbing attempts
00:40:38of Jermaine Taylor.
00:40:45Going to the body then upstairs with the right hand.
00:40:49It pushed Abraham back momentarily,
00:40:52but now Abraham coming forward,
00:40:59which sometimes is a signal that he's ready to get it on.
00:41:03Well, he better soon.
00:41:04I think Taylor's putting some rounds in the bank,
00:41:08and he wants to tire Taylor out.
00:41:11Does he try to lull you into a false sense of security
00:41:14and then do that?
00:41:15Exactly.
00:41:16Let you think that he's easy to hit.
00:41:19He is a very intelligent fighter, isn't he, Abraham?
00:41:22And with a unique style.
00:41:24Puzzling too many.
00:41:27Long right hand by Abraham.
00:41:29That's starting to find a home.
00:41:34By far, Abraham's most effective round.
00:41:37And Taylor has to know right now,
00:41:39even though he was very effective in the first four rounds,
00:41:42that he is in there with a bull, a very strong man.
00:41:58Taylor coming forward for a brief second,
00:42:00but then he stepped back,
00:42:01and now they go at it on the inside.
00:42:08It's been totally an outside fight, Steve.
00:42:10No, nothing resembling any infighting.
00:42:13That was surprisingly wild at stage.
00:42:17There's a straight right hand that pushes Taylor back.
00:42:21And that connected.
00:42:23That one missed.
00:42:26Best round by far for Arthur Abraham.
00:42:28Round five.
00:42:32Time!
00:42:40Let's go to Nottingham, England.
00:42:44All right, Steve, thank you very much.
00:42:45Jim Gray in Nottingham, England,
00:42:46as we get ready for Durell against Karl Fratsch.
00:42:49Karl joins us now.
00:42:50Karl, you said you felt that it was disrespectful and naive
00:42:53for Durell to get here just six days in advance.
00:42:55Why did you say that?
00:42:57I don't think six days is long enough
00:42:58to get the flight out of your system, the jet lag.
00:43:01I know it still says it's on Californian time,
00:43:04but you need to get the flight totally out of your system
00:43:07and give yourself at least 21 days,
00:43:08three weeks to acclimatize.
00:43:11I don't know. He might know something I don't.
00:43:12It's not a massive advantage, but it's a little summit.
00:43:16But you would probably be asleep at 2 a.m.,
00:43:18and he would be getting ready to have dinner.
00:43:19Why is that an advantage?
00:43:21It's nothing to do with getting to sleep
00:43:22and getting ready to have dinner.
00:43:23It's to do with the 10-hour flight.
00:43:25You know, it's a long, long way,
00:43:27and it's going to be dangerous for him.
00:43:29All right, we look forward to the fight.
00:43:30Let's go back to Berlin and Steve Albert.
00:43:32Welcome back to Berlin, Germany.
00:43:35Thank you very much.
00:43:38Gus Johnson, where later tonight
00:43:42it'll be Fratsch versus Durell
00:43:45from Nottingham, England, in the Super Six.
00:43:51Round six from Berlin.
00:43:55A wide left followed up by a straight right by Abraham,
00:43:59who has come on after a slow start,
00:44:04but that is nothing unusual for the Armenian.
00:44:07Yeah, the logical script for this fight is being played out.
00:44:12Taylor or Lee. Abraham comes on.
00:44:15Let's see how effective Abraham is when he comes on.
00:44:23And Abraham a lot more aggressive
00:44:25than he was in the first few rounds.
00:44:29Starting to turn it on in the fifth round.
00:44:33And he's got that fire in his eyes.
00:44:37And the best thing Taylor can do
00:44:38is if he thinks Abraham's about to punch,
00:44:40take a step at his man.
00:44:42All those punches that go around Taylor's head,
00:44:45nothing will land.
00:44:48The crowd chanting for Arthur Abraham on the white fronts.
00:44:53Good body shots by Arthur Abraham.
00:44:57Has to take it out of him.
00:45:01The accumulative effect.
00:45:05Now he pushes Jermaine Taylor back with a jab,
00:45:07fires a right to the body.
00:45:09The jab by Taylor is weakening.
00:45:13And now again, Abraham says low blow.
00:45:16And this could be a point.
00:45:19Guadalupe Garcia deducting a point
00:45:22from Jermaine Taylor for excessive low blows.
00:45:27Well, we saw that coming in round two
00:45:28when there had already been two or three warnings.
00:45:36Critical, though, Steve, that Taylor does not decide
00:45:38that by himself.
00:45:40He's got a lot of power.
00:45:42He's got a lot of power.
00:45:44He's got a lot of power.
00:45:46Critical, though, Steve, that Taylor does not decide
00:45:48to abandon the body.
00:45:50He's landed clean there.
00:45:51He hasn't landed clean upstairs.
00:45:53And he's cautioned again by Garcia.
00:45:59You're right. Now, psychologically,
00:46:01he feels, hey, I can't go that way anymore.
00:46:04I'm gonna get penalized.
00:46:07And it's a big point of his attack.
00:46:13So hard to get through that guard.
00:46:14Right hand by Abraham.
00:46:16Back comes the jab of Taylor, pushing Abraham back.
00:46:20Abraham misses wildly with the left.
00:46:22Got him on the top of the head with the right.
00:46:28I see a lot less oomph on Taylor's jab.
00:46:32These hard punches to the body
00:46:34are starting to take their toll on Taylor.
00:46:45Abraham now is playing around
00:46:48with Jermaine Taylor as the bell sounds.
00:46:53And here's action from round 6.
00:46:55You see it's low.
00:46:57Abraham keeps those elbows so low
00:46:59that if you don't want to hit the point of his elbow,
00:47:01you have to punch below that point,
00:47:02and that's gonna be a low blow, and that was a low blow.
00:47:09And Abraham comes back with a right-hand jab.
00:47:12And Abraham comes back with a right hand.
00:47:14Maybe Abraham's best round,
00:47:18but that was low, and given the warning, Steve,
00:47:20I don't have any argument with the point it does.
00:47:22Yeah.
00:47:29Famed trainer Uli Weckner.
00:47:35Listen to me, okay? Listen to me.
00:47:37Listen to my voice.
00:47:39Here.
00:47:401, 2. Boom, boom, boom.
00:47:421, 2. 1, 2.
00:47:43Give him some punches, okay?
00:47:45Just a variety of punches. Do that.
00:47:52I'm gonna say those are the Scorpions.
00:47:54And you are correct, sir.
00:47:56Very good, Steve.
00:47:57I know my Scorpions.
00:47:59Round 7 scheduled for 12.
00:48:02The Super 6 World Boxing Classic
00:48:04underway from Berlin, Germany.
00:48:06Nottingham, England, later with Fratz Garel.
00:48:09Abraham really coming on the last few rounds,
00:48:13and it's beginning to have his way now with Jermaine Taylor.
00:48:16Taylor's jab not having as much effect
00:48:19as it had in the first few rounds.
00:48:22Taylor losing a point for low blows,
00:48:27and everything's going Abraham's way right now.
00:48:30Yeah, 10-8 round in the 6th for Arthur Abraham.
00:48:32I have Taylor up 1 point after 6 rounds.
00:48:35I think Abraham will take that at this point.
00:48:38And Taylor missing with a right uppercut attempt there.
00:48:44He is best when he mixes with uppercuts and hooks,
00:48:47but we're seeing predominantly the jab.
00:48:56And we're now getting to that point
00:48:58that's very interesting, Steve,
00:49:00in terms of Taylor's stamina issues.
00:49:03It's the start of the second half of the fight...
00:49:09...where Taylor has begun to fade.
00:49:13Well, you look for the signs.
00:49:14Against Fratz, Taylor's starting walking backwards straight.
00:49:17That was a bad sign.
00:49:18So far in this fight, though, he's doing a very good job
00:49:20of keeping his hands up when Abraham punches.
00:49:23Yeah, the telltale signs that if he starts holding a lot
00:49:26and if he's punched, the count drops.
00:49:29And Abraham knows that.
00:49:32So he's going to continue to pound away
00:49:35and then go back into his defensive posture.
00:49:39And the only thing, really, that's getting through
00:49:41from time to time is that pecking jab by Taylor,
00:49:44and it's not doing any damage.
00:49:46Oh, terrific body shots then upstairs by Abraham.
00:49:51Just more ferocity when Abraham punches.
00:49:55Punishing power, missing with the wide left hook.
00:49:59Hey, stop! Hey, stop!
00:50:00And they tie each other up.
00:50:02Hey, be careful!
00:50:04Watch out.
00:50:05Watch out.
00:50:06Watch out.
00:50:07Watch out.
00:50:08Watch out.
00:50:09Watch out.
00:50:10Watch out.
00:50:11Watch out.
00:50:12Watch out.
00:50:13Watch out.
00:50:14Watch out.
00:50:15Watch the head.
00:50:16Watch the head, says Garcia.
00:50:24He's whining for a kidney blow there.
00:50:29Abraham going for the knockout punch there, but missed.
00:50:34He was looking to close the show with that right hand.
00:50:41Abraham patient, waiting for his moment.
00:50:43Got a left hook in.
00:50:44That startled Taylor.
00:50:47Taylor has to punch back when Abraham punches.
00:50:49That's when you can hit Abraham.
00:50:51Well, no tell.
00:50:55Couldn't hear it.
00:50:56The crowd was so loud.
00:51:04When you put them earmuffs up, you've got to step over
00:51:07and put that damn left hand down and throw the right hand.
00:51:10You've got to do it.
00:51:11You can get him up out of here.
00:51:12Relax.
00:51:13Don't worry about the knockout.
00:51:14Relax.
00:51:15Relax.
00:51:16Relax.
00:51:17All right.
00:51:18All right.
00:51:19All right.
00:51:20All right.
00:51:21You're turning it.
00:51:23Hook off the jab right hand.
00:51:25All right?
00:51:26Watch the right hand he's throwing.
00:51:28Coming down the middle now.
00:51:29I see it every time.
00:51:30I know you see it.
00:51:31Keep your eye on it.
00:51:32But it's close.
00:51:33I see it every time.
00:51:34All right.
00:51:35As long as you see it.
00:51:36I see it.
00:51:37All right.
00:51:38Come on now.
00:51:39Not pull out with your left hand.
00:51:42He's trying to steal the round.
00:51:43He's trying to steal the round.
00:51:45Action from the 7th.
00:51:46Again, Abraham snapping Taylor's head back.
00:51:49Look at that jab.
00:51:50He has really outjabbed Taylor, who's probably thrown three times
00:51:53as many jabs in the fight.
00:51:55Things getting urgent in that Taylor corner as we begin round 8.
00:52:00Taylor looking a little discouraged.
00:52:04And perhaps realizing what everybody had been talking about with regard.
00:52:09had been talking about with regard
00:52:14to the punching power of Arthur Abraham.
00:52:18And Ozell Nelson, Taylor's trainer,
00:52:20wants him to move to the right,
00:52:22pull down Abraham's left glove,
00:52:24and fire that right hand.
00:52:25We haven't seen that many right hands from Taylor.
00:52:27It is his best punch by far.
00:52:30It dropped Kyle Froch early,
00:52:33even though Froch got off the canvas to win.
00:52:37And it dropped Kelly Downs, probably,
00:52:38who got off the canvas to win.
00:52:43Abraham has never been down.
00:52:4730 and 0.
00:52:5224 by knockout.
00:52:57Interesting. We've been looking for signs
00:52:58that Taylor might drop his gloves.
00:53:00It's Abraham who's boxing on the outside
00:53:02with his hands low at times.
00:53:03Yeah.
00:53:09Abraham starts off with that looping left hook.
00:53:13Tries to finish with the right,
00:53:16but those punches didn't land.
00:53:21Abraham is so damn inconsistent with his offense, though, Steve.
00:53:25He never has long stretches where he's effective.
00:53:27He is sporadic.
00:53:29You know, he boxes the way football teams play.
00:53:32He's either on offense or he's on defense.
00:53:34But he's always on offense.
00:53:35That one got through that jab by Taylor,
00:53:39but it's going to take a lot more than that
00:53:41to rock the chin of Arthur Abraham.
00:53:44And the reason Taylor's jabs are coming in there
00:53:45is because Abraham's hands have been down,
00:53:48which is unusual for him.
00:53:54And he's got a lot of room.
00:53:56He's got a lot of room.
00:53:58He's got a lot of room.
00:54:00He's got a lot of room.
00:54:02He's got a lot of room.
00:54:05Well, with good timing like that,
00:54:08I was just going to say, if Taylor can see that opening
00:54:11and fire that right, his money punch, who knows?
00:54:14Here comes Abraham on the attack.
00:54:24Only effective punch in that entire flurry
00:54:26was Abraham's hook to the body.
00:54:30And that's a punch he recently added to his arsenal.
00:54:32He used to be a one-punch guy,
00:54:35just the right hand.
00:54:36But that left hook is a freight train punch.
00:54:44Missing with the right, counter right by Tanner,
00:54:47fell short.
00:54:51Time!
00:54:56That's another round for Abraham.
00:54:57I have him up 76-75 after eight rounds.
00:55:00For more on the second half of our doubleheader,
00:55:02let's go back to Nottingham, England.
00:55:04Jim Gray back in Nottingham now with Andre Durrell.
00:55:07He will fight Karl Fratz in about a half an hour from now.
00:55:10How are your nerves? Biggest fight of your career?
00:55:12I'm pretty nervous, but more prepared than anything,
00:55:15so I'm ready to go.
00:55:16Fratz has said just recently and during the week,
00:55:19unprofessional for you to be here this late and naive.
00:55:22Six days here in England.
00:55:23Is that enough time, and are you adjusted?
00:55:25Most definitely. I'm definitely ready.
00:55:27I'm setting my ways.
00:55:29I got adjusted real fast.
00:55:31But it seems to me he's looking for me to get tired.
00:55:33He's depending on me to get tired,
00:55:35and if that's the case, then he's in for a big shot.
00:55:37All right, Andre, we look forward to the fight
00:55:39about 30 minutes from now.
00:55:40Thanks a lot.
00:55:41All right, with that, that's it from England for now.
00:55:43We'll be back in about 30 minutes.
00:55:45Let's go back to Berlin and rejoin Steve Albert.
00:55:53Folks!
00:55:55All right, thanks very much.
00:55:57Gus Johnson, Al Bernstein, Antonio Tarver, Jim Gray,
00:56:00standing by to call the Carl Fratz-Andre Durrell fight
00:56:03coming up later tonight.
00:56:05It is round nine, scheduled for 12.
00:56:09Arthur Abraham having his way the last few rounds
00:56:12after Jermaine Taylor got off to the good early start.
00:56:18But Abraham from time to time showing a little kick
00:56:21in the arm by keeping his hands down low.
00:56:23We'll see if Taylor can take advantage
00:56:25with the right hand.
00:56:30See, when this super six was announced,
00:56:32one of the things we liked about it,
00:56:34the balance in all six fighters.
00:56:36We're seeing a very competitive fight right here.
00:56:38And it is the best against the best overall
00:56:41to determine the premier super middleweight in the world.
00:56:46Hey, what a right hand at Rock Taylor!
00:56:49A right hand by Abraham, and Taylor's in trouble!
00:56:54Abraham's trying to close the show here in round nine!
00:57:00First up!
00:57:02And Taylor holds on.
00:57:04Garcia breaks it up.
00:57:06Taylor trying to regain his composure.
00:57:09He was wobbled.
00:57:12A left to the neck now by Abraham.
00:57:15If there were doubts in Taylor's mind coming in,
00:57:17they've surfaced right here.
00:57:23But Abraham steps back and, for the moment,
00:57:27Taylor was momentarily dazed.
00:57:29Abraham couldn't finish him off.
00:57:39Taylor has his legs back under him,
00:57:41and a right uppercut by Taylor on the inside.
00:57:44And again, the inconsistency of Abraham's attack.
00:57:47When it would serve him best to pour it on, he doesn't.
00:57:50Yeah, he really held back.
00:57:52He's got a lot of power.
00:57:54That was a borderline shot.
00:57:56Left hook to the body.
00:57:58There's the jab by Abraham, pushes Taylor back.
00:58:04Taylor, the smallest man in the tournament.
00:58:08Or Abraham, the smallest man.
00:58:11But Taylor's doing the right thing.
00:58:13The round is gone.
00:58:14He's not going to win the round.
00:58:16He's got to last the round.
00:58:18It's a 10-8 round for Abraham,
00:58:19almost no matter what Taylor does from the outside.
00:58:22He's doing a good job.
00:58:23He held when he had to hold.
00:58:24He still has his legs.
00:58:26Another right hand by Abraham.
00:58:29He's missing wildly, though, with certain punches, Abraham.
00:58:34And we wonder if Taylor can take advantage with a counter.
00:58:41And Abraham would get an extra point if he wins by knockout.
00:58:45Let's not forget the tournament rules.
00:58:47Two points for a winner,
00:58:48an additional point for a knockout.
00:58:50Two points for a winner,
00:58:51an additional point for a knockout.
00:58:52No points for a runner.
00:58:57Taylor's in no mood to shake Abraham's hand.
00:59:02And here it is.
00:59:03It's a right, a straight right.
00:59:07We talked earlier about how Abraham was throwing wide rights.
00:59:10Taylor told his corner a round ago,
00:59:12I see the straight right coming.
00:59:13He didn't see that because it was disguised by a jab.
00:59:16And Alexander, Abraham loved it.
00:59:20Which way?
00:59:21Don't go the same way, all right?
00:59:22Keep your hands up good.
00:59:23Use some feint.
00:59:24Your pull jab was working good, all right?
00:59:27Don't force a right hand.
00:59:28You see it when he's dropping off.
00:59:30Try to come and not hit the floor a little bit overnight.
00:59:32And then remember how he jumped in that two,
00:59:34you threw that right hand?
00:59:35Yeah.
00:59:36Two, three.
00:59:37Drop that two.
00:59:38Face up against the wall.
00:59:39Take a deep breath.
00:59:40Drop that two.
00:59:41Face up against the wall.
00:59:42Take a deep breath.
00:59:43Take a deep breath.
00:59:44Round 10.
00:59:45Come on, come on.
00:59:46Seconds out.
00:59:47Come on.
00:59:48Knowing the rules, Jermaine Tanner
00:59:50wants to survive at any cost.
00:59:53He doesn't want to go down and lose an additional point.
01:00:00Round 10.
01:00:02These rounds suddenly are just flying by.
01:00:04For Rush, anyway.
01:00:05Maybe not Jermaine Tanner right now.
01:00:07You know, Steve, this fight has been fought at a pace
01:00:10and a distance that's favorable to Tanner.
01:00:13It's discouraging that he could be behind already
01:00:16at this juncture, because the fight's going his way
01:00:18in so many different ways.
01:00:19But he's not being effective from round 5 or 6 on.
01:00:23We haven't seen the right often enough from Jermaine Tanner.
01:00:26His big punch.
01:00:27There's a sweeping left hook attempt.
01:00:29Maybe not.
01:00:30Maybe not.
01:00:31Maybe not.
01:00:32Maybe not.
01:00:34And a jab, missing wildly by Abraham.
01:00:40He just throws that out there to see what sticks.
01:00:45And at this point in the fight,
01:00:47he had Taylor's buying time by punching that jab.
01:00:50He's not scoring enough points.
01:00:52So what you're saying, in essence,
01:00:54is abandon plan A and go to plan B.
01:00:58Well, I'd like to see more right hands from Jermaine Taylor.
01:01:00It's his money punch.
01:01:03I think he wants to see it, too.
01:01:05He's just waiting for the moment.
01:01:07And Ozell Nelson said he wanted to see it more.
01:01:13His trainer, who's known him since the age of 12.
01:01:20Nice, stiff jab there by Abraham.
01:01:23And a return jab by Taylor.
01:01:25But Abraham's just tough.
01:01:26Abraham looks a little winded.
01:01:29And a little red in the face.
01:01:30Yep.
01:01:32But he's the shorter fighter with the shorter reach,
01:01:34and his jab is the better jab.
01:01:36And Abraham, again, he's got his hands up high now,
01:01:38but now they're back low again.
01:01:41He's confident.
01:01:42There's a slapping left hook.
01:01:43Goes to the body, missing wildly with the right.
01:01:46An attack by Abraham.
01:01:49A flurry of punching.
01:01:51The right, blocked by the gloves,
01:01:53but it puts Taylor back.
01:01:54Abraham continues to throw an attack.
01:01:59Now, the left is attacking, the right is trying to go or get
01:02:03caught back.
01:02:04And his opponent, Ozell Nelson,
01:02:06is not aware of the way that he's attacking.
01:02:10And Ozell Nelson is going for it.
01:02:12Who's the stronger?
01:02:13What do you think that might be?
01:02:14Well, I think it's gonna be Ozell Nelson.
01:02:16I wasn't sure if it was gonna be Ozell Nelson.
01:02:18I think it's probably going to be Ozell Nelson.
01:02:20Abraham continues to pour on the pressure.
01:02:27What's gonna stop him is counterpunching,
01:02:29and Taylor hasn't done any of it.
01:02:30And we wonder how much gas is left in Taylor's tank.
01:02:35But it seems okay.
01:02:37And, Steve, there's no sense of urgency from Abraham,
01:02:39and as these rounds mount and he keeps winning them,
01:02:42there's probably not a need for a sense of urgency.
01:02:44He senses that he's climbing ahead on the cards
01:02:47if he hasn't climbed ahead already.
01:02:48Does he want to make a statement
01:02:49in front of 14,000 hometown fans?
01:02:52Who knows what's going on in his head?
01:02:53Oh!
01:02:54Oh!
01:02:55Oh!
01:02:56Oh!
01:02:57Oh!
01:02:58Oh!
01:02:59Oh!
01:03:00Oh!
01:03:01Oh!
01:03:02Oh!
01:03:03Oh!
01:03:04Oh!
01:03:05Oh!
01:03:06Oh!
01:03:07Oh!
01:03:08Oh!
01:03:09Oh!
01:03:10Oh!
01:03:11Oh!
01:03:12Oh!
01:03:13Oh!
01:03:14Oh!
01:03:15Oh!
01:03:16Oh!
01:03:17Oh!
01:03:18Oh!
01:03:19And here he is in one of the championship rounds
01:03:21of the Super Six.
01:03:24Now, you see how smart Abraham is
01:03:25and why he's an accurate puncher.
01:03:27Taylor puts his gloves up.
01:03:28What is Abraham to?
01:03:29Punches around him, suddenly goes wide with his shots.
01:03:35And Jermaine Taylor is not as effective
01:03:37when he plays peekaboo as Arthur Abraham is,
01:03:39that's for sure.
01:03:42Rundefrey zur elften Runde.
01:03:46Round eleven.
01:03:47Abraham battered Taylor in that last round
01:03:52with a variety of punches.
01:03:54They're having a little problem with the trunks,
01:03:56so they're taping it up.
01:03:57Malcolm Garrett, the cut man,
01:03:58is doing his best to fix the problem.
01:04:03Round 11 from Berlin, Germany.
01:04:07Group stage 1, the first fight
01:04:09of the Super 6 World Boxing Classic.
01:04:13It's been a very difficult second half of the fight.
01:04:17For American Jermaine Taylor,
01:04:21Arthur Abraham, the adopted son here in Berlin,
01:04:25originally from Armenia.
01:04:26Oh, that looked like a low blow by Taylor.
01:04:28And the referee was on the other side.
01:04:29He missed it entirely.
01:04:33Abraham, a co-favorite with Mickel Kessler
01:04:36to win the whole thing.
01:04:40And he's more than a 2-1 favorite
01:04:42to beat Taylor tonight.
01:04:45We've talked a lot about Taylor fading, Steve.
01:04:48The irony now is that he can't worry about fading.
01:04:50He has to accelerate if he wants to win this thing.
01:04:55As a knockout, a guy who's never been down
01:04:57with a titanium chin, literally.
01:05:00He has titanium steel and 22 screws
01:05:06implanted surgically into his chin.
01:05:08That coming after the bruising fight with Edison Morant.
01:05:13So he does literally have a steel jaw.
01:05:18Nice right hand over the top by Jermaine Taylor.
01:05:23Got the attention of Abraham.
01:05:27Abraham back into his peek-a-boo style.
01:05:31But coming forward.
01:05:33Taylor has to keep firing that right hand,
01:05:35and he has to fire it hard.
01:05:38There it is.
01:05:40Body attack by Abraham.
01:05:51Steve, he's a stronger fighter.
01:05:53It's just, it's not anything more than that.
01:05:56There's no question.
01:05:57Yeah, when he punches, there's just more force on his shots,
01:06:00whether it's one shot or four shots.
01:06:02And his boxing prompts are coming undone.
01:06:11In the front and the back.
01:06:15More information than we need, you might say.
01:06:17Yeah.
01:06:19Turning into an R-rated boxing match.
01:06:22He's got a lot of power.
01:06:24He's got a lot of power.
01:06:26He's got a lot of power.
01:06:29Turning into an R-rated boxing match.
01:06:33Meanwhile, Arthur Abraham continues to march on,
01:06:37pushing Taylor back with the right off the head.
01:06:42Ripped trunks or not.
01:06:49Ten seconds left in the 11th.
01:06:51He continues to push Taylor back.
01:06:53Taylor, frustrated.
01:06:56And you can't counterpunch when you're moving backwards.
01:06:59Time!
01:07:15Got to have it, man.
01:07:17Got to be smart, though.
01:07:18Can't get caught with no dumb shit.
01:07:20It's coming to the last round, gentlemen.
01:07:26Don't sit there when you're on the floor.
01:07:28Don't sit there.
01:07:53You need to box the right way.
01:07:56You need to box the right way.
01:08:00So three minutes left in this fight.
01:08:02Don't touch gloves.
01:08:04Can Jermaine Taylor summon it up for a dramatic
01:08:08come-from-behind victory here
01:08:10against a guy who has never been on the canvas
01:08:14in his career?
01:08:19But Taylor also,
01:08:22who has to know he's behind on points,
01:08:25has to stay on his feet
01:08:27so as not to lose another point in the Super 6.
01:08:31So he's got to be careful not to get caught by Abraham.
01:08:41All Abraham has to do is play defense.
01:08:48He knows he's well ahead.
01:08:55But I don't see a sense of urgency here from Taylor.
01:08:59Not at all.
01:09:01This looks like one of the first or second rounds
01:09:03of this fight where Abraham was content
01:09:05to just play peek-a-boo,
01:09:07and Taylor poked away.
01:09:09Can't do any poking now.
01:09:11He just can't get through that defense.
01:09:13Well, the only way to really land flush
01:09:15against Abraham is to counterpunch,
01:09:17and Taylor hasn't been able to do it.
01:09:19He's been pushed back when Abraham attacked.
01:09:21Abraham too strong.
01:09:25And it just is a body shot by Abraham.
01:09:27Just keeps alternating from offense to defense.
01:09:30There's no fluidity, no rhythm,
01:09:33and that's also got to be tough on Jermaine Taylor.
01:09:37You just never know what's coming.
01:09:39And, Steve, it's so tough to win on points on the road
01:09:42in Germany or in anywhere else.
01:09:44Last 70 title fights here.
01:09:46This isn't the title fight.
01:09:48Here goes Abraham again.
01:09:51No answer from Taylor.
01:09:53But the last 70 title fights here
01:09:55are the record of the visiting fighter.
01:09:57Left hook by Abraham.
01:09:5911.56 and 3.
01:10:01Only two fighters have won on points here.
01:10:03Abraham's looking for that extra point
01:10:05with a knockout.
01:10:0948 seconds to go in the fight.
01:10:12There's a heavy right to the head by Abraham.
01:10:15It's looking like round 12 of the cross fight
01:10:17a little bit to him.
01:10:19Interesting.
01:10:21Except Taylor's still coming forward
01:10:23against Frost.
01:10:25He was moving straight back
01:10:27the last minute of that round.
01:10:2930 seconds to go.
01:10:33Taylor needs a knockout.
01:10:42Oh, and down goes Taylor!
01:10:45What a shot!
01:10:473, 4, 5, 6, 7...
01:10:52It's over.
01:10:54They won't even finish the count.
01:10:56He's gonna get himself three points
01:10:58and let's just hope Jermaine Taylor is all right.
01:11:04He just short-circuited Jermaine Taylor
01:11:07in the final seconds of the fight
01:11:09with a massive shot.
01:11:17And it happened so fast, Steve.
01:11:19Let's just really hope he's okay.
01:11:39What a dramatic ending to this fight.
01:11:47Arthur Abraham
01:11:49ends it in emphatic fashion.
01:11:51Thank goodness Taylor's up.
01:11:53Seems to be okay.
01:12:00As Abraham salutes the crowd.
01:12:06Final seconds of the 12th round.
01:12:09A knockout for Arthur Abraham.
01:12:12Vluov and Kessler
01:12:14looking on
01:12:16and maybe in his mind
01:12:18wondering down the road.
01:12:20That's pretty impressive,
01:12:22says Mikkel.
01:12:26Do I really want to fight this guy?
01:12:28And, Steve, we were saying
01:12:30comparisons to the 12th round
01:12:32of the Frost fight for Jermaine Taylor.
01:12:34A little scary that he ended up
01:12:36getting stopped almost the exact same time
01:12:38as he got stopped in the 12th round
01:12:40of the Frost fight.
01:12:46Well, the fans
01:12:48get what they came to see.
01:12:50An Arthur Abraham
01:12:52knockout.
01:12:56To the absolute joy of his adoring
01:12:58fans here in Berlin.
01:13:02The start of what he hopes is a march
01:13:04towards supremacy in the super middleweight
01:13:06division.
01:13:08The first hurdle
01:13:10by beating the biggest name
01:13:14in the super six.
01:13:22There it is. It was the right hand.
01:13:24A quick
01:13:26bullet right hand
01:13:28set up by a wide left hook
01:13:30and the right was right down the middle.
01:13:32Taylor's been keeping his gloves up
01:13:34but that was between the gloves
01:13:36right on the button.
01:13:38Jermaine Taylor's eyes were closed
01:13:40before he hit the canvas.
01:13:46Maybe that's why it's so hard
01:13:48to counter Arthur Abraham.
01:13:50Taylor started using his right hand
01:13:52there. You see it in that last replay.
01:13:54And before he could counter with the right hand,
01:13:56Abraham zinged him with his own right
01:13:58and that was the end of the fight.
01:14:00And they told him in the corner
01:14:02before the 12th,
01:14:04that he was going to win.
01:14:08So two points for the win
01:14:10for Abraham, another point
01:14:12for the knockout, so three points all told.
01:14:14And he's in first place.
01:14:16Very good.
01:14:18No points for Taylor
01:14:20who really needed this fight
01:14:22to get his career back on track.
01:14:24Falls to 28-4 and 1.
01:14:26Those four losses
01:14:28coming in his last five fights
01:14:30and three by knockout.
01:14:32The fact that this fight ended
01:14:34with a sudden knockout like it did
01:14:36is very damaging
01:14:38for Jermaine Taylor.
01:14:40If he had lost the decision
01:14:42where he fought okay the first half
01:14:44and faded the second half a little bit.
01:14:48As the Giant looks on
01:14:50for Lueb.
01:14:52Taylor is not eliminated.
01:14:54He continues on in the tournament.
01:14:56He'll fight Andre Ward.
01:14:58Abraham will next beat Andre Durrell.
01:15:00Taylor hit the ground hard.
01:15:02Abraham patient throughout.
01:15:04It's almost as if he sensed
01:15:06it would come.
01:15:08And it did with, what, 11 seconds
01:15:10left in the last round.
01:15:12A pulsating right hand
01:15:14by Arthur Abraham.
01:15:16Ladies and gentlemen.
01:15:18Ladies and gentlemen.
01:15:22Ladies and gentlemen,
01:15:24before we give the official time,
01:15:26a round of applause for this young man
01:15:28from Little Rock, Arkansas, USA
01:15:30who came here to Berlin
01:15:32to show the world that he has
01:15:34more courage than anyone can imagine.
01:15:36Jermaine Taylor.
01:15:42The end comes at 2 minutes
01:15:4454 seconds
01:15:46of round number 12.
01:15:48Now advancing
01:15:50in the super six
01:15:52super middleweight world boxing
01:15:54classic. The winner by
01:15:56knockout, King
01:15:58Arthur
01:16:04Abraham.
01:16:10Arthur Abraham goes to
01:16:1231-0 with 25
01:16:14knockouts. We'll be back
01:16:16with more from Berlin later. Right now
01:16:18let's go back to Nottingham, England
01:16:20and Gus Johnson.
01:16:22Earlier
01:16:24tonight, the arrivals of our
01:16:26second co-feature fighters.
01:16:28Carl Froch is 32 years old
01:16:30an unbeaten world champion
01:16:32and arguably the biggest
01:16:34hitter in the super six tournament.
01:16:36He's also a hard, tough man
01:16:38who's proven himself at the
01:16:40highest level. Tonight
01:16:42he intends to send Andre Durell back
01:16:44to the states, a broken
01:16:46fighter.
01:16:48But watch Andre Durell once
01:16:50and you'll come to the same conclusion
01:16:52as everybody else. His potential
01:16:54is unmistakable.
01:16:56He's been perfect as a pro
01:16:58and moving up in class tonight, he plans on
01:17:00racing right past Carl Froch.
01:17:02If speed indeed
01:17:04kills, Durell is the
01:17:06super six's most dangerous fighter.
01:17:08That's the matchup coming up next
01:17:10but first, let's check out our

01:18:56go back to Berlin to Steve Albert
01:18:58and Steve Farhut.
01:19:02Arthur Abraham, I know Johannes will help us translate
01:19:04but you want to answer the first question in English
01:19:06what was your impression of the fight?
01:19:09It's a great fight
01:19:11it was a great fight
01:19:13great KO
01:19:15and
01:19:17he is a good fighter
01:19:19maybe I am better
01:19:21Did Arthur think he was
01:19:23clearly ahead going into the last round?
01:19:29Of course, yes
01:19:31I think
01:19:33I think I win a pound
01:19:35with 11 points
01:19:37and maybe
01:19:39I tried to do the KO
01:19:41all the time
01:19:43I tried to go for the KO
01:19:45but I know I was ahead on points
01:19:47The knockout
01:19:49can you describe what enabled him to land
01:19:51such a devastating punch
01:19:53when he hadn't really hurt Taylor badly
01:19:55until that point
01:19:57When you saw that I was waiting for
01:19:592.5 minutes
01:20:01for this punch
01:20:03and I was looking for
01:20:05the gap
01:20:07to hit him
01:20:09and it worked
01:20:11As an expert can see
01:20:13I was just waiting for 2.5 minutes
01:20:15for him to open up
01:20:17I was waiting for this opportunity
01:20:19and then I hit him
01:20:21and it finally worked
01:20:23In the tournament
01:20:25You get one extra point
01:20:27if you score a knockout
01:20:29Was that on his mind during the fight?
01:20:33No
01:20:35For me it's only win
01:20:37very important
01:20:39Did Taylor hurt him with anything?
01:20:41Did he feel Taylor's
01:20:43punching power at all?
01:20:47Yes, of course
01:20:49Maybe not so hard
01:20:51Doesn't hit hard?
01:20:53No
01:20:55Normal, not so hard
01:20:59His second fight in the tournament
01:21:01will be against Andre Dirrell
01:21:03What does he know about Dirrell
01:21:05who will fight later
01:21:07and how does he see that fight?
01:21:09What does he know about Dirrell
01:21:11and how does he see that fight?
01:21:13Until now
01:21:15I only focused on Taylor
01:21:17I haven't seen a single fight
01:21:19of Dirrell
01:21:21That's why I can't say
01:21:23Now I will focus on him
01:21:35Congratulations and good luck
01:21:37Thank you very much
01:21:39and I hope
01:21:41I go to America
01:21:43and I will take America
01:21:45This is my next plan
01:21:47Thank you Arthur
01:21:51Thank you very much Steve
01:21:53and this is what they're fighting for
01:21:55The Super 6 World Boxing Classic Cup

01:21:59Arthur Abraham
01:22:01out of the gates first
01:22:03with an incredible finish
01:22:05He receives 3 points
01:22:072 points for the win
01:22:091 point for the knockout

01:22:17Antonio Tarver
01:22:19It wasn't pretty
01:22:21but very effective
01:22:23Arthur Abraham
01:22:25with a devastating right hand
01:22:27Yeah, you know
01:22:29in some ways
01:22:31it was vintage
01:22:33I'm sure he served notice
01:22:35certainly that in this Super 6 tourney
01:22:37he is a force to be reckoned with
01:22:39Most definitely he is
01:22:41I can look at Taylor
01:22:43and see that he was frustrated
01:22:45throughout the night
01:22:47He jabbed effectively
01:22:49but nothing seemed to get through
01:22:51and when he did his work to the body
01:22:53he was either worn, or questioned
01:22:55or even taking a point away
01:22:57for the low blow
01:22:59so that had to be discouraging in itself
01:23:01Arthur Abraham
01:23:03doing a fine job
01:23:05he now improves to 31-0
01:23:07with 25 KOs
01:23:09he is the shortest
01:23:11and the smallest
01:23:13man in the Super 6 field
01:23:15so Jermaine Taylor
01:23:17he fought 11 and 2 thirds
01:23:19very well
01:23:21but the last few seconds
01:23:23turned out to be
01:23:25as Yogi Berra would say
01:23:27deja vu all over again
01:23:29outside his dressing room
01:23:31Jermaine, most important thing
01:23:33how do you feel right now, you okay?
01:23:35Yeah, I'm a little hurt man
01:23:37but it comes along with the territory
01:23:39I'm hurt more than anything
01:23:41I trained hard
01:23:43I gave it all I had
01:23:45I didn't get the victory
01:23:47Going into the 12th round, what was your mindset?
01:23:49Where did you think you were in the fight?
01:23:51I don't know, I couldn't even tell you
01:23:53I was just fighting
01:23:55I don't even remember
01:23:57Did you get caught
01:23:59with a shot you didn't see
01:24:01because he didn't seem to hurt you really before that
01:24:03Yeah, that's what I was thinking
01:24:05I thought I was in the best shape of my life
01:24:07I was just training hard
01:24:09and he just caught me
01:24:11He's a very strong fighter, I'll give it to him
01:24:13In your mind, would it have been
01:24:15even if you had lost on points, would it have been a lot better
01:24:17if you had gone the distance, do you feel that way
01:24:19or is a loss just a loss?
01:24:21A loss is a loss to me
01:24:23this ain't the first time, this is boxing
01:24:25You gotta expect the worst
01:24:29It's a hard sport
01:24:31Jermaine, good luck to you and go take care of yourself
01:24:33Thank you so much, man
01:24:37Jermaine Taylor, tough night
01:24:39for the former
01:24:41undisputed middleweight champion
01:24:43of the world, similarly to his
01:24:45fight against Carl Brach
01:24:47he fades in the end and loses
01:24:49to Arthur Abraham
01:24:51virtue of the 12th round knockout
01:24:53I'm sorry, I stole your
01:24:55Yogi Berra line, but that's yours
01:24:59How about Jermaine Taylor, tough, tough
01:25:01night for him
01:25:03The similarity, obviously, to the Brach loss
01:25:05however, in this case
01:25:07he was behind on all scorecards
01:25:09107-103, 106-102
01:25:11and 105-103
01:25:13we kind of thought that 105-103
01:25:15score was a little closer to reality
01:25:17Once again for Jermaine Taylor
01:25:19excellent early in the fight
01:25:21but not good in the second half
01:25:23and clearly this does raise questions
01:25:25of how he turns things around
01:25:27and gets himself into the fray
01:25:29in a better way for the rest of this tournament
01:25:31Yes, he fought well throughout the fight
01:25:33but it just seems like that knockout
01:25:35loss seemed to catch up with him
01:25:37Now, we are in a tournament
01:25:39based on points, so we don't want to
01:25:41write Jermaine Taylor off chess yet
01:25:43He has an opportunity to redeem
01:25:45himself, but how do you do it
01:25:47with that in your mind
01:25:49I constantly cannot finish on top
01:25:53One down, two to go
01:25:55in group stage one
01:25:57of the Super 6 World Boxing Classic
01:25:59the super middleweights coming up
01:26:01from Nottingham, England
01:26:03Carl Fratch puts his WBC title
01:26:05on the line against the speedster
