00:00Here is the kid of the Pinoy MMA fighter, Jean-Claude Saclague,
00:04the first to be caught when he joined the flyweight bout against the fighter of South Korea.
00:11Paolo, thank you for the details.
00:17The 29-year-old team took an explosive performance from Jean-Claude Saclague
00:23in his return to the professional mixed martial arts stage
00:26after being defeated by the South Korean opponent, Lee Jun Young
00:29in their one-championship flyweight match last Friday in Bangkok, Thailand.
00:33Saclague only needed 24 seconds in the fight,
00:37which resulted in a heavy overhand right,
00:40which made him fall to the South Korean fighter, Salona,
00:43who followed the combinations on his face
00:45before the referee stopped the fight via technical knockout.
00:49In the PTV Sports interview, Saclague said
00:52that it was a big help for some people to advance to the amateur level
00:55by winning the Gintong Medal in the next three editions
00:59of the South East Asian Games in his return to the professional MMA career.
01:04I was so nervous in preparation.
01:09After the match, I was so happy because I knew I could beat him,
01:17but I didn't expect it to be that fast.
01:21Saclague also admitted that it had a big effect on him
01:24when he lost the unanimous decision in the first professional MMA fight
01:28of 2019 against Ryo Okada of Japan.
01:31It was a blessing in disguise because when I lost,
01:34I tried harder to practice because I saw that I needed to improve a few steps
01:40because I saw the result.
01:45Now, Saclague is back to practice under the bad kickboxing of the Philippines
01:49to prepare for the upcoming Asian Kickboxing Championships in Thailand this October.
01:55Paulo Salamatin for Pambansang TV in Bagong, Philippines.
