00:17I did, I did.
00:18On this slamming season.
00:20Our first contestant, she didn't come here
00:22just to be Miss Contestant.
00:24She came here to be Miss Contestant.
00:25She came here to be Miss Contestant.
00:27She didn't come here just to be Miss Congeniality.
00:31Oh, no, no, no.
00:32Please welcome Olivia La.
00:37It feels so good to be in the finale.
00:40I knew I could get here.
00:42It was just making it happen
00:43and I'm really proud of myself that I made it happen.
00:47Welcome, Olivia.
00:48Hey, y'all.
00:49You look fabulous.
00:50Thank y'all.
00:50You too, too.
00:51Look at you.
00:53Red carpet ready.
00:54It really makes me feel proud
00:56to even have been asked to come here,
00:58but I'm showing that I deserve to be here
01:01and I could win.
01:03Do you think you got what it takes to be the Glam Slampie?
01:06I absolutely have what it takes.
01:08Well, Olivia, are you ready to meet your competition?
01:11Where?
01:12Competition where?
01:14Well, staring Olivia down
01:15from the other side of the sewing machine,
01:18our next contestant has also been undefeated
01:21as she toured through Times Square ready to wear
01:26on her way to Relaxing in Resortwear
01:28on the Fire Island Ferry.
01:30Please welcome the physical embodiment
01:33of the word superstar, Lux Noir London.
01:36Hi, everybody.
01:40It's me, Lux Noir London, and I made it to the final two.
01:44Hi, Viva.
01:44What's up?
01:45Girl, not the theatrics.
01:46I thought we were just coming casual.
01:47You ain't text me.
01:50Lux, what's it like seeing your competition, Olivia,
01:52in the work arena?
01:53I mean, you know, it is what it is.
01:56I guess, well, no.
01:57Actually, I haven't beat the best because they lost,
01:59so I'm happy to be competing against the second best.
02:02Oh, the second best.
02:04Olivia, I don't know about you,
02:05but that was fighting words where I'm from.
02:07Baby, I look good in gold, not silver.
02:09Ah!
02:10Interesting.
02:11Well, I would love to see it one day.
02:14You'll see it today, baby.
02:15You don't have to wait for too long.
02:17And we shall see indeed.
02:18Just three short hours, honey.
02:20Interesting.
02:21Wow.
02:23Battle of the Luxes!
02:26You can't make that shit up, bitch.
02:29I think that this episode is going to be a fight
02:31to the death because we both really want this.
02:34We both worked super hard to get there,
02:36and we both are right at the end.
02:38So I'm sure that none of us are gonna go down
02:41without a fight.
02:42You know, Rob, New York City does get awfully cold
02:46in the winter, but nothing warms my chestnuts up
02:49like holiday balls.
02:51I literally couldn't agree anymore.
02:54And we're not just talking about tipsy eggnog
02:57with your cubicle coworkers.
02:59All we want for Christmas is so much more.
03:03And that's why in this episode,
03:04our contestants must design and bring to life
03:07an evening couture look that captures all that is
03:11Christmas eleganza extravaganza in New York City.
03:15Work.
03:16Come on, Rockefeller.
03:17You may use any of the materials and tools
03:19that you see in the work arena,
03:21but keep an eye on the clock because as always,
03:23you only have three hours to complete your look.
03:26That's right, ladies.
03:27For the last time, when the clock strikes zero,
03:29your looks must be completed,
03:31and they will be modeled by identical twins,
03:33and they will take it to your other contestants
03:35who will vote on which look they like,
03:37not knowing who done had made what.
03:39The winner will take home $10,000
03:42and the title of Glam Slampian.
03:45For the last time, guys,
03:48have we made ourselves clear?
03:49Yes.
03:51Are you ready to round out the year in luxury?
03:55Yes.
03:56Always.
03:57I see what you did there.
03:58Well, ladies, the clock's about to start ticking.
04:02So without any further ado,
04:04we recommend you get to work!
04:10Oh my!
04:11Oh, you f***ed!
04:12You got it!
04:14Ladies, do not fight.
04:16We do not have a medic today.
04:17I need the spur.
04:18I need this white fur.
04:22I am not going down without a fight for this fabric.
04:25I saw the vision in my head with the gown, with the fabric.
04:28I need this fabric, so I'm not letting go.
04:31No!
04:35Oh my goodness!
04:36You literally can't have it.
04:37She was not going down easy.
04:39When I tell you she is 13 pounds soaking wet, baby,
04:43she still put up that fight.
04:46No, you can't!
04:47Girl!
04:49You need to check the rule book.
04:50She can't go over to my side.
04:52No!
04:53That's not against the rules.
04:56You know what?
04:57It's fine, you can have it.
04:58I let her have it because at the end of the day,
05:01I can make something out of anything.
05:05Babes.
05:06It is the end of the world.
05:06I saved your fur.
05:08This isn't my color.
05:10It's yours.
05:18So I'm pulling inspiration from a Schiaparelli look.
05:22It's this kind of like really fitted bodice
05:25with this kind of off the hip asymmetrical kind of skirt
05:29that has a lot of draping and like a mermaid tail
05:32at the end.
05:33So I'm thinking I could really burn the building.
05:38She took that red I needed.
05:41I'm starting to think,
05:42how am I gonna utilize these fabrics?
05:44So it's giving me red and white,
05:46almost like a candy cane.
05:48And then I have this white fur
05:50that instantly gives me winter
05:52and I know that I can create a silhouette that is couture.
05:55Do I do a mermaid gown?
05:57Possibly, but I want more drama.
06:00This category calls for drama eleganza.
06:05And I need to think of a silhouette
06:07that will be graceful.
06:08I need to think of a silhouette
06:10that will be graceful.
06:11And I need to think of a silhouette
06:14that will be grand enough to take the crown.
06:18Lux, how do you feel about the materials that you grabbed?
06:21Actually, I'm pretty pleased with the materials that I have.
06:24I could have gotten a paper bag
06:25and I'm gonna turn it into couture.
06:26So I wasn't really phased by that.
06:28I just like getting what I want.
06:30Why was that white fur speaking to you?
06:32Were you thinking of a-
06:32I don't wanna give any ideas
06:34to anybody who might be listening
06:36because they are in possession of the white fur.
06:39So I'll just leave that to mystery.
06:42Lines have definitely been drawn,
06:43especially on my side of the arena.
06:47We saw that.
06:47Livia, how do you feel about the materials
06:49that you ended up with?
06:50I didn't know that I had to defend my side of the court,
06:53baby, but I'm always ready to do that.
06:56And now you really love this white fur.
06:58Are we thinking a gown, a party dress, a snuggie?
07:02Monet, a party dress?
07:03I mean, Lucy did it.
07:04We couldn't stop her.
07:06You're a party girl.
07:07Oh my God!
07:08I'm looking to give something over.
07:11Okay, word.
07:12And I think I've shown in this competition
07:14that I can give that.
07:15♪♪♪
07:26I kinda want, no, I'm not gonna do skin on the side.
07:29Let's keep it classy.
07:30This is Christmas.
07:33So now that the queens are working on their designs,
07:35we're gonna have a little family reunion
07:38and reintroduce them to their models, Jada and Madeline.
07:42Yes, this is a family reunion.
07:45Hey, ladies.
07:46Why don't you head over to your queens
07:48and get reacquainted?
07:49We made it.
07:50Oh my gosh.
07:52Oh my gosh.
07:53This is like, I'm so happy.
07:55And that we get to work together again.
07:58So we are giving Christmas fantasy.
08:01As you can tell, I am working feverishly on this fur
08:05that I had to fight for.
08:08So I'm doing a gown.
08:10And let me show you the sketch.
08:12This is...
08:12Is this a skirt?
08:14This.
08:15Actually, perfect that you're here.
08:17I can try her on.
08:18I'm taking a hoop skirt
08:19and I'm putting it at the model's knees
08:21so it makes like a mermaid.
08:22So I can have the volume that I need
08:24without having the fabric underneath.
08:27This is fab.
08:28You can like walk sickeningly.
08:29Gorgeous.
08:30Okay, work.
08:31Right now I'm focusing on this fur piece.
08:34So at first I was just going to do fur cuffs.
08:37I have so much of this fur
08:38and I'm not trying to put it back in the middle for her.
08:41So we're going to make a dramatic big fur coat
08:44that's going to touch the ground and just be trailing.
08:47Yeah, it won't slide
08:48because it'll be like all one piece.
08:50This is the top of like the dress.
08:52Then I'm going to take this fabric
08:54and kind of drape it like very asymmetrically
08:58like around you.
09:00Like one hip, have it gather.
09:02And then at the bottom, just have it like circle around.
09:07You see the mind?
09:15No wonder why we fought over this fabric.
09:17It is gorgeous.
09:19And I could tell it's very expensive
09:21and there's not a lot of it.
09:22I need to make sure that I'm being very cautious
09:25with how I cut this.
09:27The fabric doesn't have stretch.
09:29I'm good.
09:30The fabric is very temperamental.
09:33And also I'm noticing this fabric
09:35can barely go through the sewing machine.
09:38The fabric is absolutely not on my team.
09:40If this was a sports situation,
09:43it's giving there the opponent.
09:46This fabric is so thick.
09:48I'm getting hot just looking at this fur.
09:52I'm going to see fur in my nightmare, so.
09:54The fabric is lucky that it's cute.
09:57Ladies, one hour in.
10:02I was pretending it was a bell, but it's a holly.
10:06Ding, ding, ding.
10:07We'll add that in post.
10:08Ding, ding, ding.
10:16Fork.
10:17Olivia, is that a pillow in a dress?
10:20That's how I put on appliqués.
10:23Oh.
10:24That's how she appliqués.
10:2550% appliqués, yeah.
10:27It's better than putting it on the mannequin.
10:29Yeah.
10:35Hi.
10:36Hi, love.
10:37How are you?
10:38Oh my God, first of all, love the look.
10:39I'm a little taller today.
10:41Wow.
10:43This looks expensive.
10:44How are you feeling about it?
10:45I'm feeling really strong about it.
10:48It's honestly looking pretty major.
10:50I love the draping here.
10:52You do love a good swoop, you know?
10:54I do, I do.
10:56I feel like asymmetry,
10:57it just kind of always looks a little more luxurious
11:01because it looks like a little more effort
11:02was put into it.
11:03I think that asymmetry gives your eyes
11:06certain places to look,
11:07and it gives focus that isn't so linear.
11:10It kind of makes you really look at the outfit.
11:13And I think that it can also accentuate the model's body.
11:15It can make you look longer or shorter.
11:18Asymmetry is a lovely thing to play with,
11:19especially with haute couture.
11:22I feel like now we're supposed to be
11:24giving unity and things like that.
11:26It's the holidays.
11:27Why are we fighting?
11:28Oh my God.
11:29You should say that a little louder.
11:30I'd love to find a little peace between you two.
11:32You know, it's the holidays,
11:34and I just think that we should not be fighting our sisters.
11:38We should be hugging our sisters.
11:41Lux, I think that is a great piece of advice.
11:44I'm gonna go check in with Olivia,
11:45see if maybe Olivia agrees.
11:47Yeah, maybe she will, maybe she won't.
11:48But, you know, who's to say?
11:50Only time will tell.
11:52Olivia Lux.
11:54What's up, Rob?
11:55You tell me what's up.
11:57As you can tell, fabric is the biggest challenge in this,
12:01because then you have to conceptualize something
12:04off the cuff.
12:05So I'm kind of going along with it all.
12:08I saw this fabric, it spoke to me,
12:09and then now I'm starting to make little things
12:12that I'm able to adhere to the front part of the dress,
12:15because I want it to give couture.
12:17I don't want it to just look like a gown from a store.
12:20Right, yeah, that is a challenge.
12:22I noticed all the red flat fabric was taken,
12:25which rightfully so, sis.
12:27That's the name of the game.
12:29The red fabric, I really wanted it,
12:32I really needed it, but I don't need it.
12:35Well, I won't keep you too much longer.
12:36Thank you, Rob.
12:37Good luck, I'm excited to see what you do.
12:39This is wild.
12:39Yes, good luck, $10,000.
12:42Okay, so, full T.
12:45We are not gonna have enough to finish the bottom.
12:49So I noticed that Olivia has a couple petticoats
12:53in her station, and I'm thinking,
12:56hmm, I could probably spray these red
12:59and use it as a little bit of like, tool
13:01to go under the part that's showing.
13:04I'll be right back.
13:05Okay.
13:06Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and do that.
13:07I'm going to go ahead and do that.
13:09I'm going to go ahead and do that.
13:10I'm going to do that.
13:11I'll be right back.
13:12Hi, Olivia.
13:14What's up?
13:15I have a question.
13:16Are you going to use those tutus?
13:18I think I am, yeah.
13:19Okay, have fun.
13:21Lux, yet again, has come over to my workstation.
13:25She loves my workstation.
13:27If there's one thing Lux gonna do,
13:28it's gonna be in my workstation.
13:30Well, girl, we tried.
13:32Olivia, what just happened?
13:35Oh, she asked for some fabric.
13:37And?
13:38I said no.
13:42Lux, what fabric did you want?
13:44She has these like, white tutus,
13:47and I wanted them to potentially line
13:50the bottom of my skirt.
13:51So you don't see the hoops?
13:52Yeah, because I might not have enough fabric to cover it.
13:54That's interesting, girl,
13:55because when we ran over there,
13:57you ran to get the crinoline skirt.
13:59I know what I did.
14:00And I wanted the crinoline skirt.
14:01Well, I had a change of heart.
14:04You know, it happens.
14:05She had a mo change of the heart.
14:07Lux is running out of fabric.
14:08It's fine.
14:09I see someone's not in the Christmas spirit.
14:12Olivia's being pretty naughty
14:14and not nice to me right now.
14:16It's kind of gagging me
14:17because I thought that she was supposed
14:18to be Miss Congeniality,
14:20and I thought that she'd be better than this,
14:22but I guess competition truly
14:24does bring the worst out of people.
14:26I understand that people think I'm a nice girl,
14:29and I am genuinely, you know, best of intentions,
14:34but in a competition setting,
14:35I've learned the hard way,
14:37on my season of Drag Race,
14:40niceness isn't gonna get you the crown.
14:42Period.
14:46Money, what is this?
14:47Well, let me say something.
14:48If these can come here and win $10,000,
14:51making these outfits,
14:52I know I can win $10,000.
14:54So you gonna get me $10,000.
14:56I'll have to serve it harder than these twins, though.
14:58Do you think I can do it?
14:59You'll be great.
14:59You'll be great.
15:00And like the sleeve, this is your color.
15:02Do you like silver?
15:03Yes.
15:04Yeah, it is my color, I think.
15:06Because it just reflects you.
15:08Exactly.
15:09You're like, I love how I look on you.
15:11Yes, and it brings out like the hazel in your eyes.
15:12I love it.
15:14Oh, perfect.
15:17Perfect.
15:21Perfect.
15:24All right, all right, all right.
15:26Hey, my man, you look good.
15:29I can see you up close.
15:31I'm gonna need to borrow that outfit.
15:33I'm real serious.
15:35You can borrow whatever you want from me, girl.
15:36You know that.
15:37Listen, how you feeling, honey?
15:38This is down to the wire.
15:40I know.
15:41I feel like I have like no time, girl.
15:43But you're making progress.
15:45I really wanted to highlight my draping,
15:46and I think I'm doing that,
15:47but draping takes forever.
15:50It really does.
15:52And then so is this gonna be a gown or a cocktail dress?
15:55We were actually just talking about that.
15:57I think I might,
15:59the original sketch was a big flared out mermaid,
16:01but I think the coat might be dramatic enough
16:04to give it the effect it needs,
16:05so it's just this really cute,
16:07like, you know, slinky,
16:08just like down to the floor gown.
16:11Because this is so opulent,
16:13I don't know if it needs that flare at the end.
16:15But I have enough fabric,
16:17and we'll see.
16:18I'm glad I didn't give Lux the petticoats,
16:20because I really might need them.
16:22Work.
16:23Okay, okay, okay.
16:24And then, I mean,
16:25you spend a lot of time on this intricate detail over here.
16:27That looks very beautiful.
16:29I use wire to create this kind of shape,
16:31and I really like how it,
16:33and zip ties, yeah.
16:34Zip ties, work.
16:37All right, babe,
16:38we'll see you when you get all done, okay?
16:38Thank you, Monet.
16:39Get it.
16:44L&L, Ms. Thing.
16:45Hi, I'm X Change.
16:48How are you?
16:49Good, babe, how are you?
16:50I'm doing good.
16:51I think that it looks really sickening.
16:53And Lux, talk to me about draping.
16:55Where did you learn how to drape?
16:56I'm kind of just, like, doing it.
16:58Work.
16:59I didn't, like, go to, like, school for any of this,
17:01so I kind of just, like, sat down
17:02and, like, played with fabric,
17:04and was like, okay, this is how this works.
17:06Work.
17:07Well, I mean, draping is really hard,
17:09and it takes a long time,
17:10but you're doing it,
17:12so it won't hurt.
17:14I can't wait to see the final thing.
17:15I'll leave you alone, and I'll step away.
17:17Ooh, don't hurt yourself,
17:18because I don't have a shirt.
17:31Yes.
17:39Ladies, we have 30 minutes left.
17:4330 minutes left.
17:48Oh, what is this?
17:49Am I gonna put at the bottom of this?
17:51Unless, hmm, I have an idea.
17:56I'll be right back.
17:59I'm kidding.
18:00Oh, my God.
18:01Hi, hosts.
18:03How are we doing?
18:04Good.
18:04I hope that you are all having, like,
18:06a festive holly jolly time.
18:08I saw you over here, like, you know,
18:09doing something with some fabric,
18:11maybe making something,
18:12and I was wondering if you were gonna use
18:13this red fabric right here.
18:16Did you put anything in?
18:17No, we're not.
18:18Are you gonna use it for your look?
18:19Potentially.
18:20Allegedly.
18:21That's what the streets are saying.
18:22I mean, well, let me read the bylaws here.
18:26She just has the bylaws open.
18:28A glam slam say, contestants may use any materials
18:31in the work arena to further advance
18:33their construction of any garment.
18:36Yes.
18:37Well, don't mind if I do,
18:40because one thing I'm gonna do is get what I need.
18:43Okay.
18:44She actually wasn't even gonna ask us.
18:46Did you know that?
18:47Yes, she was.
18:47She had her hand on it, and she was, like,
18:49lifting it before you even looked at the bylaws.
18:51Wow.
18:52Thank God I had these handy dandy bylaws.
18:54No, you were halfway through the bylaws,
18:55and she was already, she was done.
18:58Oh my gosh, what's she gonna take next?
19:00Ugh.
19:03Bam.
19:06Now, we figure out, do I wanna build the drama?
19:10Okay, so she just, Olivia just told me
19:14that she was probably not gonna do this tool,
19:18but I think now she is,
19:19which is gonna give it a similar shape
19:21to what Lux has going on.
19:23Did you know that Olivia was making a mermaid gown, too?
19:27My initial sketch was a mermaid tail,
19:29and I showed it on camera,
19:30so if y'all wanna play, you can roll back the tapes.
19:37But I'm sure that mine will be better.
19:41Attention, ladies.
19:42There is only 10 minutes left in the competition,
19:46and someone will go away $10,000 richer.
19:50So at this point, we are, like, 10 minutes away
19:52from $10,000, and right now is not the time
19:56to be messing around.
19:57We have to put the pedals to the metal
19:59to make sure that everything on the look is finished.
20:04There's 10 minutes left,
20:05and I still haven't put the fur jacket with my gown.
20:10Let's go ahead, let's put it all together.
20:15This is crazy.
20:17Ooh, she has a purse, like a little,
20:20oh, a fur, a furse.
20:22Fur purse.
20:23Fur.
20:24Oh, two.
20:25Oh, like foxtails, that's what she's doing.
20:27We only use faux fur here at Glam Slam.
20:31We would never, there were no animals besides me
20:35harmed in the process of making this show today.
20:38I am running out of time.
20:41Girl, I don't know if I have enough time.
20:43I have six tails, and what feels like six seconds.
20:49Ladies, two more minutes.
20:52Two more minutes.
21:02The clock is definitely ticking and ticking and ticking down,
21:06and I'm taking every second I can
21:07to make sure that the look is accessorized,
21:10so I decided to make a headpiece
21:11out of these cranberry things,
21:13which is kind of really severe
21:15that I just thought to do that on a whim.
21:18So I did that, and I gave her some earrings
21:19that were made out of tiny little red Christmas ornaments
21:23to tie in all the red and to tie in a little more Christmas.
21:26If Lux doesn't get the cranberries on her head
21:28by the time this is over, she can't have the cranberries.
21:3110, nine, eight, seven, six,
21:36five, four, three, two, one.
21:41Whee!
21:45Ah!
21:47Gorgeous!
21:48Ah!
21:49The clock strikes zero.
21:51The timer stops, and I step back,
21:54and I'm filled with Christmas joy
21:56because my look is a holiday miracle.
21:59I think that mine is really well-constructed.
22:02I think that mine looks really good.
22:05There was a lot of technique that went into it,
22:07and, like, it looks like fashion.
22:08It looks like something you could see walking down a runway.
22:13Ooh, you did that.
22:13Thank you so much.
22:15This was really amazing.
22:16I'm just, I'm really happy to be here,
22:18and I'm just getting emotional now,
22:19and I'm just really happy.
22:21My fabric literally looks like candy canes.
22:23It's giving the Christmas eleganza that we're looking for.
22:28I am really proud of this piece.
22:31Regardless of who wins or not, I did that.
22:36Bring on a jury of your peers, darling.
22:39Oh, my God.
22:42Wow, they completed that look on the left in three hours?
22:45My goodness.
22:46It's glam, it's colorful.
22:49Ooh, okay, can we redo this?
22:51Because I really want to do this category.
22:53This one's really close,
22:54but I think that the look on the left
22:56is just a little bit more on theme.
22:59They're both great,
23:00but I like the one on the right a little bit better
23:03because it speaks to me a little bit more.
23:05It's gorgeous.
23:06It's perfect, it's giving, it's serving.
23:09Perfect, I want one in every color.
23:12Why is that not mine?
23:13Who made this?
23:14Where do I place my order?
23:15Oh!
23:20So, we've tallied the results from our fellow contestants,
23:25and the results are actually here.
23:28We're gonna find out who was created
23:30and who was not created.
23:33We're gonna find out who was Christmas couture
23:36and who was Christmas couture.
23:39The winner is gonna win $10,000
23:41and be our crowned glam Slampian.
23:44And the loser will choke on a lump of coal.
23:48You really shouldn't have been eating it to begin with.
23:50It's not food, it's coal.
23:52Now, should we bust this envelope wide open or not?
23:54I think we should.
23:55Yes, girl.
23:56And the winner is...
24:03Olivia Luck!
24:04Yes!
24:05Oh, baby, we did it.
24:07Oh, yes.
24:08Congratulations, Booba.
24:10I feel like I done won gold at the Olympics.
24:13I feel like I won the Super Bowl.
24:16What's the basketball one?
24:18I am not the winner.
24:20Boo-hoo, I am crying on the inside,
24:23but never on the outside.
24:25The journey and the experience that I had
24:27is not greater than the prize,
24:29but it's definitely something
24:30that I will keep with me forever.
24:32Thank you, Luck.
24:33Congratulations.
24:35Here you go.
24:36To prepare for this competition,
24:39I had to do a lot of internal work
24:43before I even got here.
24:45I really wanted to make sure I was confident enough
24:48to put my talents out there.
24:50And in this competition,
24:51I really feel like it tested me.
24:55And for that, I am just so happy.
24:59And this is a big, big, big thank you
25:01to all the contestants who slayed it
25:02and turned it out all season long.
25:04Y'all were everything.
25:05And thank you for being our number one fan
25:07and cheering on with us from the bleachers.
