00:00In an unexpected situation, the Murcia Municipal Police Station confiscated a kilo of shabu
00:07that was worth 6.8 million pesos from the driver of a motorcycle
00:13that was involved in a vehicular accident in Barangay Salvación, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
00:18The suspect, Carl John Arroyo, was identified as a 28-year-old gulang
00:23and resident of Puroc 42, Bayanihan, Barangay Bulmonte, Bacolod City
00:28According to the Murcia Municipal Police Station, the police responded to the incident
00:33but when they found out that the suspect was in danger,
00:38the police took action and found the illegal drug in his bag.
00:46According to Police Regional Office 6 Director Jack Wanky,
00:50the arrest of the suspect is the result of the surveillance of the police.
00:55Wanky ordered the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office to conduct an investigation
01:01and find out the origin of the illegal drug that the suspect brought.
01:06The suspect is facing charges under Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
