First lady leads opening of Presidential Museum in Baguio City
Malacañang’s Social Secretary Bianca Zobel announces the opening of the Presidential Museum at the Baguio Mansion House on Sunday Sept. 8, 2024.
First Lady Liza Marcos, together with her son Vinny, led the opening of the gate of The Mansion, where the Presidential Museum is located.
Like the Teus Museum at the Palace in Manila, the Presidential Museum in Baguio will house a vast collection of memorabilia, including presidential attire, footwear, flags and busts sculpted in the likeness of the former leaders.

00:00Well, it was a good opportunity since this house was never really used.
00:21And it's also, it's a continuation of the Malacanang heritage mansions that we have.
00:28This is something that we would like to put in more areas so that people have that access
00:37and knowledge.
00:38Ma'am, is there a plan for every day that it will be open to the public?
00:42Except for Mondays, yes.
00:43So Tuesday to Sunday, we are open from 9 to 5.
00:49I recommend that you book a tour.
00:50You can book through Facebook, Instagram.
00:53We have a website.
00:57We can also take in walk-ins, but we can only take 20 people per tour.
01:03The tours are every 30 minutes.
01:05So if there is space, let's say only 15 people arrive, we can put 5 walk-ins.
01:11But it would be better to book a tour.
01:12This is all free.
01:14So no charge.
01:15How many people, ma'am?
01:17How many people can this mansion accommodate?
01:21So 20 at a time.
01:22So 20 every 30 minutes.
01:25Just because the rooms inside are small and the way you walk through, you might bump into
01:33each other.
01:34So that's the reason.
01:35We're only doing 20 at once.
01:37Ma'am, what will be the items that will be inside the museum?
01:41So this is going to be, it's kind of like Ugnayan, which is our president's road to
01:50Malacanang, and Teo's presidential museum.
01:53So it is a bit of both brought here so you can enjoy both of the museums here.
