Abalos: Two weeks to go as Local Government secretary

Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos says he has 'two weeks at most' left as head of the Department of the Interior and Local Government and that he has 'heard of several names' who could possibly take over his post. Abalos is one of 12 candidates for senator in the ‘Alyansa Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas’ of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the 2025 midterm elections.
