00:00Jude and Vanessa you both wanted to live in your characters house, but Ron put his foot down because of safety
00:07Why were you both willing to rough it like that?
00:13Curiosity
00:15Right. Yeah. I
00:17mean a lot of this so much of this story is about people out of their comfort zone and
00:25embracing the outdoors
00:26the elements
00:28testing themselves and
00:30At that early stage while we were prepping. I think there was a huge amount of excitement, right?
00:36As we hadn't spent the four months outside and
00:40It just felt like a very direct way to connect with this couple
00:47And even just the time we did spend sort of nosing about and planting things and whittling
00:53Yeah
00:55Was was was kind of connective and bonding to that experience
00:58I think we just wanted to we just wanted to keep pushing the envelope and quite rightly Ron said
01:02There are a lot of dangerous snakes and spiders out here. Let's let's not do that. We asked every day
01:08Yeah, and and the I think it's also because those two particularly was so isolated
01:13It was just them and so it's quite hard in today's world to imagine
01:17It's been completely on your own for that long
01:19I think it was two years or something three years before everyone else turned up
01:22so it was almost more than anything trying to get the sensation of being
01:27completely alone and just with
01:30Nature and the interesting thing about all the characters is they they were doing this voluntarily, you know
01:35They were going off the grid for their own separate reasons with their own lifestyles and and you know agendas and so forth
01:42But they were there because they wanted to be so I appreciated that they were volunteering to rough it
01:47But we were making a movie and I did need them to show up the next day not poisoned by some critter
