00:00I am here with the Wolves legend, 192 goals for the club, Mr John Richards, League Cup winner and everything
00:05and now charity abseiler, how was that for you John?
00:08It was a first, it was a first to be up on the roof at Molyneux and it was a first sort of abseiling down
00:14One that I really liked, I heard it was for the Wolves Foundation, it was something I thought
00:19I've never done it before, give it a go and it was absolutely fantastic, the way it was organised was brilliant
00:25It's all for a great cause
00:26Take yourself out of your comfort zone for a good cause like you said
00:29Yeah, we're only here once so you get that opportunity few and far between
00:33So it was a case of, I spoke to my wife about it and she said yeah, jump, just go
00:38I don't know whether she'd have upped the insurance or what, I've got no idea
00:41But it was, no, it was amazing, all done properly, I felt totally safe and secure
00:47The difficult bit was just taking those first steps off the roof and leaning back
00:53There's that sort of tension there but once you've actually started moving it was wonderful
01:00And obviously doing it inside this place that you graced for so many years as well and still continues to grace
01:05Yeah, it's a fabulous stadium and obviously there's no crowd here but it's got something special about it
01:11And it's always nice to be at Molyneux and the team here is absolutely wonderful
01:15And that's the thing, you still do a lot of things for Wolves these days even though it's 40 odd years since you've played here
01:21Yeah, 40 years, nice of you to remind me about that
01:25Well, I've been part of the Wolverhampton family for 55 years, I moved here in 1969
01:32And it's part of my life and I love working with the Wolves and the people who are here at Wolves
01:39And how important is the Wolves Foundation to you?
01:41Very, it brings everybody together, it brings the local community, it brings the club
01:46It brings all the other people, businesses together and it's all for a good cause
01:51It's helping people in the vicinity of Wolverhampton, not necessarily all Wolves supporters
01:56But if they need any help, any support, we're there to help them
01:59And just speaking to the people at home, would you say to any of them if they get the chance to do this, do it?
02:04Yes, definitely, it's one of those things, there's a fear there obviously, excitement, but do it
02:11If I can do it, anybody can do it
02:13Absolutely, and this is the Wolves legend speaking, thank you very much Sean
02:16You're welcome
02:17Very welcome
