00:00We're back here at the Redland Dogs Sanctuary and this is a this is a labor of love for
00:04Bren Jr. who rescues dogs all over the place and as you come around here you
00:10maybe you can see it is dog after dog, kennel after kennel, all these volunteers
00:14trying to find homes for these dogs. The phone rings all the time for him. Can you
00:18rescue this dog? This dog's lost. This dog's found. Look at if you have a home right now

00:32Miami-Dade County has 37,000 dogs right now that need homes. 37,000 and a big number of them are
00:39here at Juniors rescuing the Redlands. All right any help you can give them we appreciate it and

00:55greatest story ever. Eva was hanging around your neighborhood for how for how long before you
01:01brought her in? Five months. But when you describe her we just had you off camera you were telling
01:08me kids are hanging around her neighborhood kids are coming in and out she's fine with everybody
01:14super sweet kids right you can handle all that kids are gonna be fine she's great with families
01:19she's kind of a chilled out dog huh very very very calm and sweet. All right Eva let's find a

01:47well Belle was dumped in our gate because the county is over capacity now she had and started
01:54to share but was a bad puppy inside a box we brought her in and we did it we
02:00paid the scenes microchip now we're giving her some manners and she's going to be ready for
02:06home anytime. Once they get in here the sanctuary they relax a little bit they know they're loved
02:12and you get it all set for families to take home. You run the other dogs and all your great volunteers
02:17everybody said Nicole all these people who do such a good job everybody loves it besides they've
02:22never had love before many have never even had a meal before so now we're just trying to find
02:27families for them. Hey can you give us a description of Belle what a great dog Belle is?
02:31Belle is a very sweet girl she just needed like a slow introduction that's it but once she gets
02:37to know you she's going to be very loyal faithful and funny she's young year and a half full of
02:44energy and love to share. Come on down here check things out if you want to volunteer if you want to

02:53we've got another dog we want to introduce you to this is Peter right here Peter just had a workout
02:57Peter's a little long right now but Peter's another lovable dog junior. I don't know how you train
03:02these dogs if they walk the streets but when they get in here to the Redlands Dog Sanctuary
03:08they become chilled out and mellow maybe I can bring my children here to you
03:13you work with kids we can try we can try. Peter is a great dog you know he was dumped in the gate
03:19with other five dogs and this boy he came ready he's so sweet he's very playful he walks clean
03:27in the leash he's just a little tired now because he was playing outside but he's a great dog so we
