00:00Hi, I'm Theo, and today I'm out on the streets of Manchester asking people about Manchester Airport.
00:04And that's because this morning it was rated the lowest in the country by Rich,
00:08and we want to know what people's personal experiences with Manchester are, whether they're
00:11surprised by that, not surprised, what changes they'd like to see, and whether their experiences
00:16have been genuinely good or genuinely bad. I mean small airports are hit or miss, so that
00:21doesn't surprise me because they're either empty or they're jammed. It's usually one or the other.
00:26It's very confusing. It's very weird because we went to
00:28go to the train station and you kind of feel like you're outside and you're back
00:32in a different kind of terminal. It took us a while, yeah.
00:35Signage is very poor. Yeah, we were trying to find the stairs,
00:38there was alcohol bottles on the stairs. Yeah.
00:41I don't mean this in a bad way, it's very dilapidated.
00:43Yeah. I mean.
00:44There's actually, I just know like, if we were in, let's say like Dublin Airport,
00:48it's always staffed round, like you can turn around and ask them, we actually know when to go
00:51and be like, where are we going, what's happening. Yeah.
00:53I had a positive experience. I flew out early in the morning. It was an 8am flight and I got
01:00through it pretty quickly and was able to get on my plane. So I don't, I don't have any complaints
01:05from my one experience. Airports in, in England in general would
01:08be quite good. Like I suppose if the big ones like Heathrow, even Gatwick, they're all.
01:13We kind of only have one main one, so it kind of has to be decent.
01:16Yeah. Miss is a fair account of my experiences,
01:20yeah. Sometimes it's fine. You can breeze through. Security is a real pinch point when it's busy
01:24though. Yeah.
01:24Um, and the amenities are kind of old and dated. So I'm not surprised that maybe many holiday
01:31makers would have that opinion. Yeah.
01:34It's just very tight. The corridors, everything is just very, not wide. It's not very friendly.
01:39It's very dark. Yeah. Keep moving. Yeah. It's weird.
01:42It's odd. Yeah.
01:44Now Manchester Airport have hit back against Witches rating saying that they're outdated and
01:48that it doesn't tally with their own internal polling or the investment that's gone into the
