Thailand fights invasive fish species

Thailand is battling a destructive invasion of blackchin tilapia fish. Over 1,300 tonnes of the species have been caught. The fish reproduce rapidly, with up to 500 young at a time, and devastate rivers, swamps and canals by preying on local species.
