02:11our plan should be on a bigger scale

02:16to place impoundings on top of the rivers

02:21so that we won't have to lower the water level here in Manila.

02:36won't be able to go down to the impoundings.

02:41Secondly, we have water for irrigation and water supply.

02:48In the latest report from the Office of Civil Defense,

02:51more than 440,000 families or 1.7 million individuals

02:57were affected by the Bagyong Enteng and Habagat.

03:01More than 15 people died and were injured in Calabarzon

03:06and several provinces in Visayas

03:08because of the floods and landslides,

03:10while more than 20 people were lost.

03:12According to the President's Directive,

03:15he will continue to provide assistance to the affected residents

03:19where more than P31 million pesos of assistance

03:22was given by the government and local governments.
