Huawei has announced a product launch event scheduled for September 10th, just hours after Apple’s anticipated iPhone 16 reveal. Richard Yu, head of Huawei’s consumer and automotive technology group, described it as a “leading, innovative, and disruptive product.” Huawei's resurgence in the smartphone market in China has posed a challenge to Apple, which has recently lost its position among the top five smartphone vendors by market share in the country.
