00:00Good to see you again. I'm loving your eyes.
00:02Thanks very much.
00:03You look lovely.
00:04How are you?
00:05I'm really well. And do you know, I love this film so much.
00:08Good.
00:09Do you know why I loved it? One, you're in it.
00:11And I love you. You know this.
00:13But also because we're seeing women at the forefront.
00:16We're seeing a women's story.
00:18It took nine years to get it made.
00:20There's lots of women in this.
00:21There's lots of women behind the scenes.
00:23I mean, how special is that?
00:25It's incredibly special.
00:26It's an experience that now is happening quite regularly,
00:30which is wonderful.
00:32And it's something that is kind of miraculous.
00:37I mean, what Kate's done is nothing short of an absolute miracle
00:43in the sense that she was like walking up a downhill escalator
00:48getting it made.
00:51And I don't think anybody with, had they not had her tenacity
00:55and drive and commitment and also empathy,
01:00would have been able to really hold that for such a long time
01:03and to just not lose hope that it was going to be made.
01:08And it was wonderful playing Audrey opposite her Lee Miller.
01:13It was lovely to just, I think for all of us who are in it,
01:15because we're really here to support Kate's magnificent performance.
01:19It was wonderful to kind of orbit her having created this world.
01:24And it's almost incomprehensible.
01:28We've not immortalised this in film before now.
01:31When you look at this woman's life, you think, what a story.
01:37And you are amazing in that.
01:39She's amazing in everything.
01:41But how special did it feel when Kate wanted you to be a part of this story?
01:44Oh, wonderful.
01:45This is the first, this is how we met.
01:47This is the first thing that we made together.
01:49And before, we did something else called The Regime.
01:53And she wanted to speak to me about it.
01:55And almost before she'd even said anything or what it was going to be,
01:58or almost before she'd even asked me, I was ready to say yes.
02:02She's been such a formative part of my growing up.
02:06And is inspiring in so many ways.
02:09She's so strong.
02:11She's so strong. Yeah.
02:14And was it, I know obviously there's a really, you know,
02:16there's dark subjects in this, absolutely.
02:18But was it fun just to be around women as well on set?
02:21It was wonderful.
02:22And it was also, like everything else is in filming, a kick bollock scramble.
02:26Because sometimes you're running a space heater up the side of a mountain
02:30or trying to catch the light.
02:32Kate and I have talked about this in press,
02:34but it looks quite funny at the time.
02:36But we were a band of players and we were able to band together and do it.
02:40And that was great.
02:42That was the levity part of making something that had such heavy subject matter.
02:49Absolutely. Well, you're wonderful in this again.
02:51It's so nice to see you.
02:53It's lovely to see you too.
02:54Thank you so much.
02:56Take care.
