00:00Deniston, all the way, 100%.
00:02Favourite restaurant, Gloriosa in Finiston.
00:06Why?
00:06I think it does vibe really well.
00:09It's a great vibe, which doesn't matter unless the food backs up,
00:12but a perfect understanding of just enough salt,
00:16just enough olive oil, good ingredients,
00:18and nothing that isn't necessary.
00:20Best pub apart from here,
00:22The Bell on Great Western Road.
00:24Where to go for coffee?
00:25That's pretty neighbourhood-centric.
00:28So, I live in Deniston and Zener, just up the road,
00:33does a very, very nice cup of coffee in the morning.
00:37Favourite building?
00:38The CCA building, okay?
00:41Particularly the inside of it.
00:43I've rarely seen such a good example
00:47of taking the listed components and the listed inside of a building
00:51and making it modern and making it a multifunctional arts venue
00:54that still has that lovely, cool presence of what the building was.
00:58Yeah, CCA.
00:59Favourite neighbourhood?
01:02Deniston, all the way, 100%.
01:04Glasgow band.
01:06Can I say two?
01:07Yeah.
01:08Okay, Delimitri,
01:09as perfect as rock-pop songwriting ever was,
01:13and Aztec Camera.
01:15Folk are gonna say Escobride, it's a Glasgow postcode.
01:18Very true.
01:20Your favourite outdoor space or park?
01:22Alexander Park.
01:24And again, sounds like I'm biased because of the Deniston element,
01:27but of all the big park spaces we've got in this city,
01:31of which there are many,
01:32it's like folk don't know about it.
01:34It's so quiet when the sun's out,
01:36when the other ones are absolutely teeming.
01:38So, yeah, if you want a bit of quiet when the sun's out, go there.
01:41Glasgow Hero.
01:42I mean, it's quite an obvious one.
01:43I would argue, in terms of a sort of Glaswegian identity,
01:48when many of us are telling a story in the pub
01:52or trying to tell a joke that we've read off the page,
01:58we're all channeling a bit of Billy Connolly.
02:00He's such a hero for this city
02:02and he's such an influential voice subconsciously
02:06in a lot of people's minds.
02:07Yeah, Billy Connolly.
