The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said 12 areas in Luzon remain under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 as Tropical Storm “Enteng” (international name “Yagi”) traverses the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) on Monday evening, Sept. 2.

00:00This is our latest satellite animation regarding Bagyong Enteng, and as of 10 in the evening,
00:07it was last seen, the center of Bagyong Enteng in the vicinity of the town of Rizal, in the province of Calingana.
00:14It still has a wind speed of 85 kmph, close to its center, and gustiness up to 140 kmph.
00:23It is a fast-moving area, with gustiness up to 150 kmph.
00:29Based on our latest satellite animation, these red colors are associated with occasional heavy rains,
00:36and overnight, you will experience occasional heavy rains in the areas of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Region,
00:43and Ilocos Region, as well as nearby areas of Central Luzon,
00:46and can be enhanced in the mountainous areas of Cordillera and Calaballo Mountains.
00:52It is also noteworthy that there is a high chance of rain in the western section of our country,
00:57especially in Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas,
01:00because of the Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat, which is intensified by Tropical Storm Enteng.

04:13These areas will experience strong winds, gale force winds, which can cause damage to crops, and damage to weak structures, especially those in Pauid and Cahoy.

06:54Some parts of Calabarzon, aside from Quezon, and the northern portion of Palawan.
06:58By Thursday, there will still be heavy rains in Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Pampanga.
07:06Tarlac, Pampanga, Pulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Rizal, and the northern part of Palawan.
07:15So to those we mentioned, be careful of possible floods.
07:19Especially in our low-lying areas, it is still possible for us to have heavy rainfall warnings.
07:25And there is a high chance, especially in areas with mountainous areas, northern Luzon, that there will be landslides.
