00:00And the people of Laguna will have a hard time crossing the road after this flood due to the flooding of the river.

00:13Since last night, a large part of Mapitak in Laguna was isolated

00:17until the water reached some parts of Manila East Road, which is the main thoroughfare.

00:23Only a large truck and bus can cross.

00:27A smaller truck can get stuck, so it pushes the residents away.

00:33There is no chance for the motorists to cross if they don't help the residents.

00:39The flood is the effect of the flooding of the Mapitak-Santa Maria River

00:43due to the unprecedented rain last night.

00:47In Pila and Santa Cruz, Laguna, the water level is rising.

00:52The barangay residents, including Bau, woke up to the rising water level earlier.

00:57Since 2.30am, we already had water.

01:02So you didn't sleep?

01:04No, I didn't.

01:06I went to my son's house and I went to sleep at 9am.

01:10When I woke up, my mattress was wet.

01:13Their livelihood is also in danger, just like the fish and pork.

01:17It's a good thing that the rain stopped, unlike the effects of the typhoon Karina and Habagat last month.

01:24It stopped, but if it doesn't stop, it will go up to here.
