00:00University of San Carlos in Cebu has won the 6th place in the WEO Webometrics Ranking of World Universities.

00:15University of San Carlos placed their own in the 6th spot in the January 2025 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities
00:23based on their January 27, 2025 publication.
00:27The Ranking Web of Universities is a publication of Cybermetrics Lab, a research group of the Spanish National Research Council in Madrid.
00:35According to University of San Carlos President Father Francisco Antonio T. Estepa,
00:40the long-term plans of USC are focused on sustainable community response and community transformation.
00:47So we have this 5-year strategic plan. So how do we envision the university for the next 5 to 7 years?
00:55It's said that in that strategic plan that the University of San Carlos is a sustainable community responsive university for community transformation through education.
01:10Gian Elise Yu, a graduate of USC at CPA Licensure Examination Top Notcher,
01:17is proud of her participation in the prestigious Ranking of Web Universities.
01:22I was actually first genuinely shocked because I found out that this was amongst worldwide universities.
01:29It came with an immense sense of pride because USC is my alma mater,
01:34and it's also very, very positive for us students who are coming from here as well as graduates, alumni, and currently still reviewing students
01:43to know of our school as one that carries a certain reputation that we can be proud of.
