00:00There's a deep dive on a player that if you miss out on the receivers that you really
00:08want, maybe you went running back heavy.
00:09If you find this player landing at your lap, I would even reach around ahead for him.
00:13But that's basically because they sit with you each and every week.
00:16Take it from here.
00:17Look, you absolutely should.
00:19Even two rounds is okay, depending on what the board looks like and who's on it and what
00:23those players are remaining because you want guys that can win you a league.
00:27And I think Christian Watson is one of those guys that can win you a league.
00:30Look at what he did in his rookie season, right?
00:31He only played in 14 games.
00:32He only had 41 receptions, right?
00:34But he had seven touchdowns in those 41 receptions.
00:37Seven.
00:38Okay.
00:39Now, I was playing with Aaron Rodgers.
00:40Okay, fine.
00:41Whatever.
00:42It's two years ago in the past.
00:43But even last year, if you look at some of the stats for him when he was on the field,
00:46and that was the whole question is the when he was on the field, he scored four touchdowns
00:50averaging 17 points per game.
00:53He is a high ceiling player.
00:55The problem is the hamstring issues.
00:58Apparently, he has an imbalance with his hamstrings in terms of the size.
01:02So he had been working with doctors all offseason to make sure that these things are even.
01:07That's why things kept pulling because when you have that physical imbalance, I guess
01:12you are just more prone to those issues.
01:14Deepak, who's our doctor resident fellow over on fantasy pros, we got into a deep conversation
01:19about this and he feels like he's got this situation behind him.
01:23Christian Watson could be an absolute stunning player.
01:26And I love about Deepak's work is that he gives you that whole, you know, in week one,
01:30it should be this percentage of how good he'll be in terms of full strength.
01:34He gives you the outlook, not just like, oh, yeah, he's playing.
01:36Oh, yeah, he's playing is not good enough.
01:38I wonder how effective he's going to be.
01:40And he feels like Christian Watson can be not only effective, but like a game changing
01:43kind of a guy.
01:45And Jaden Reed stepped up last year and a lot of touchdowns, a lot of key moments, really
01:49nice rookie season.
01:51You have Romeo Dobbs continue to be a steady Eddie Dantavian.
01:54Wicks is a fun, explosive splash player.
01:57But if you're looking for a guy that can win you a league who could finish as a wide receiver,
02:00one who's being drafted as a four, those guys don't grow on trees.
02:04But Christian Watson, I think, is the fruit hanging from that tree that you should be
02:07plucking right now.
02:08It's the low hanging fruit.
02:10And you should go out there and you should put that fruit in your pocket and then make
02:14a beautiful fantasy football pie and serve it up to the rest of your league mates.
02:18Because Christian Watson is that guy.
02:20He is an explosive playmaker.
02:22He's got speed.
02:23He's got separation.
02:24He's got hands.
02:25He's got everything that you want.
02:27The only thing he hasn't been able to give you is games played.
02:29But this is his third year in the league.
02:31And sometimes it just takes guys a little bit longer.
02:33You want to talk about post type sleepers.
02:35You want to talk about guys who came into the draft with a lot of hype, but haven't
02:38quite realized their potential.
02:39I present to you Christian Watson.
02:41So Matt, there you go.
02:43There is my deep dive, pounding the table for Christian Watson.
02:48Do you think I've sold everybody enough on taking this Packers water?
02:53At the end of the day, lead a horse to water.
02:55All they can do is drink.
02:56I mean, you're giving people an option that they may not know and that they may not see.
03:01Now a lot of people know all the names and people don't have the bandwidth or the time.
03:05I understand.
03:06Look, it's your job, right?
03:08It's your job to know these names.
03:09It's your job to know these things.
03:11This is how you feed yourself and your family.
03:13There are people out there that don't have that luxury.
03:15So they turn to you.
03:16Have you convinced them?
03:18You should.
03:19They should be able to take sound advice.
03:20But what I want to do to further prove the point is that Joe doesn't love all things
03:24in this Green Bay ecosystem, do you?
03:26You're not big on Josh Jacobs this year, are you?
03:29So there you go.
03:30So talk about that.
03:31Well, I think that also helps too, because if Josh Jacobs misses time, you have to pivot
03:35to Marshawn Lloyd.
03:36You already have A.J. Dillon out for the year, not that he was going to be a thing.
03:39I think the stock of Marshawn Lloyd takes a big bump because of that injury for sure.
03:43He was one of my two favorite running backs coming out of this college class.
03:46So you have Lloyd, you have Benson.
03:48Those are two guys there besides a healthy Jonathan Brooks, which you don't have quite
03:51yet.
03:52So, yeah, you could see a very similar attack to last year, which is, again, incredibly
03:57pass heavy.
03:58And I think that's what the Green Bay Packers are going to be.
04:01And the NFC, I think, is a conference that's very winnable for them.
04:04They should be in the thick of this.
04:05They should be a top three team in the NFC.
04:07They're a young team.
04:08They were the youngest team in the NFL last year.
04:11So that's a good thing in terms of, you know, you just don't know you're not supposed to
04:14be there.
04:15Right.
04:16They went to Dallas.
04:17They weren't intimidated in the playoffs.
04:18Where are they?
04:19They put a whooping, historic whooping on the Dallas Cowboys last year in their building
04:23in the playoffs.
04:24Right.
04:25So now expectations.
04:26Can you live up to them?
04:27I think the answer is yes.
04:28And people were laughing.
04:29People were mocking when they drafted Jordan Love, if you recall.
04:32Why are they doing this?
04:33They have Aaron Rodgers.
04:34The Packers continue to be playing chess while everybody else is playing checkers at the
04:39quarterback position.
04:40So they're seeing the next guy in the best spot they can and then moving on from the
04:44older quarterback.
