00:15There is complete disarray over there.
00:18Look at how they handled Aaron Rodgers.
00:20Has one player had more power than him?
00:22He skipped a minicamp.
00:23They've been unable to convert him into a team player.
00:25The vibe inside the building is terrible.
00:29That's an agent talking about Aaron Rodgers.
00:32So, there's drama in New York there.
00:36The CD contract and the Dak drama in Dallas has dominated the offseason.
00:41You got Brandon Iyuk who finally got his deal done, but he kind of basically got the same
00:45contract they offered earlier in August.
00:47And it started to sound like the 49ers, I mean, they were saying, hey, you got to get
00:52on the practice field.
00:54And Detroit wrapped everything up early in the offseason.
00:58There's like no drama here.
01:00Yeah, most everything up.
01:01They could still get something done with the Lee McNeil.
01:04And there are some reports are in the early stages of that.
01:07But that doesn't, is there any drama associated with the Lee McNeil contract?

01:13So, there's so little nonsense.
01:18I think this is wildly underrated about the Lions is, and I mean, I guess having seen
01:25what a poisonous culture was like, a culture that couldn't get out of its own way, and
01:30they spent so many years being that, it's almost, it's stunningly hard to believe how
01:37you've got free agents calling, you got contracts wrapped up for the most part early, the off-the-field
01:44nonsense is like non-existent right now.
01:51There's no like social media posts that get everybody all worked up.
01:55It's incredible.
01:57And I think it's highly underrated.
02:01With that said, I'm not, that's not the only thing that's underrated.
02:05We are rated very high, but is there anything else about the Lions that you think is still
02:11underrated that isn't getting enough love or attention?
02:15And if so, what is it?
02:19I honestly think people are still sleeping on Jared Goff.
02:23I saw this story the other day, was it from the Athletic, where they had that unnamed,
02:27it was a GM or somebody, a coach or whatever it was, somebody involved with football, that
02:35said that he's not the kind of guy that you can win with, that he needs everything, he
02:40needs all the pieces around to be successful.
02:43And I'm just, I keep shaking my head and like, okay, keep selling them short, do it at your
02:47own peril.
02:48And that's the kind of guy who comes out with a statement like that, that if the Lions win
02:51the Superbowl, that still won't give them credit.
02:54Well, they only won it because they had all these other players, but shut up.
02:58I mean, honestly, just it's okay to give the guy some flowers and say, you know what, he's
03:03actually played pretty well, but no, instead this guy wants to give all the credit to Ben
03:08Johnson and take away any credit from Jared Goff.
03:11Well, they made it really easy for him.
03:12He just has to go down his progressions.
03:14It's one, two, three, throw.
03:17Yeah.
03:18Okay.
03:19And what?
03:20He still has to do it.
03:21He still has to know what to do with the line of scrimmage.
03:22He has to know all these things.
03:23And he has to have the physical ability to get the ball from point A to point B. And
03:27I, when I saw that, I started getting pissed.

03:32Because it's like, how many quarterbacks do you think there are in the league that can
03:37win games just by themselves?
03:40Because there aren't many, there's one for sure.
03:43Okay.
03:44But beyond him, don't know who else there is because there's still a big gap between
03:51Patrick Mahomes and whoever you want at number two.
03:54If you want to put Josh Allen at two, I've seen Josh Allen make a million mistakes.
03:57You want to put Lamar Jackson at two, seen Lamar Jackson make a bunch of mistakes.
04:02So what do you got?
04:04Because if your standard is everybody has to live up to the Patrick Mahomes standard,
04:08then you better be talking about damn near every quarterback in the league outside of
04:11Patrick Mahomes and say, well, you know what?
04:14This guy can't win it on his own.
04:16No kidding.
04:17Only one guy can do that.
