00:00A few decades ago, the tills at Woolworths would be jingling all year round. It was the

00:06home of Pick and Mix, Lady Bird Children's Clothes, and it's where we all ventured for

00:11the new number one record in the charts, or the latest released double album, on vinyl

00:15of course. Are the memories coming back? The main store was in Bankhay Street, with another

00:21branch in Talbot Road and one in South Shore. They all succumbed to the demise of high street

00:26shopping. It was a massive deal when they finally closed. These pictures rewind to probably

00:31the most iconic lost store on the high street, and one which is guaranteed to evoke nostalgia.
