00:00Hello, my name is Amanda Dyke and I am the Managing Partner of Marketing and Communications
00:12for Habas Media Network North America.
00:19Mental health and understanding your own mental health is kind of critical to how you deliver
00:24it to yourself, to the people around you, to those you love, etc.
00:28We are in the business of people and when our people are healthy, both mentally and physically,
00:33they are able to deliver true to themselves and can show up in their best way possible.
00:41The Habas Mind Series is a way for you to discover mental health, to learn more about yourself,
00:48and to raise awareness of what are those individual opportunities and tactics that
00:54you could leverage to help influence a more positive and beneficial mental
00:58health for yourself and for the others around you.
01:04Complete Habas Minds because you're going to learn a lot.
01:07It's an investment in you, it's an investment in your overall journey, and again, it's about
01:14bringing more awareness to sort of the things that we feel but that are maybe not recognized at work.
01:24I love what we're doing with Habas Minds because I think it's far beyond what the industry is doing
01:30and it's just starting by creating awareness. So I think awareness is number one.
01:35Two is the stigma. Removing the stigma of mental health is critical to helping
01:41individuals be able to recognize things, get tools and resources to help improve themselves.
01:47What I would say to individuals is, you know, please give yourself grace and space.
01:52Those two things, I think, are really important. If you're coming to work and it's overwhelming,
01:57give yourself space. Please let your manager know. You don't need to, you know,
02:01divulge any details other than you need some space, but it is really important to be able
02:05to address that quickly and care for yourself in a way that enables you more meaningfully.
