00:00as the Mets had the day off yesterday and start a difficult
00:06series today in Arizona against the Diamondbacks team who has
00:10won six straight games. The D-backs an ever so slight
00:13favorite at home today in Phoenix minus 116 total of eight
00:17and a half. What's the play? Yeah, I might be leaning a
00:20little bit towards the New York Mets in this game. You take a
00:22look at Sean Minai over the past 30 days. He's been
00:24wonderful. 122 batters at his face. Look at that ISO 114 and
00:28a weighted on base percentage of 233. If we take a look at
00:31his last 60 and two-thirds innings over the past 60 days,
00:35having an ERA band 2.97 and an XFIP number of 3.86. How does
00:40this factor in? You take a look at that Arizona Diamondbacks
00:42lineup that we love to bet typically on a night-to-night
00:44basis, but they've actually struggled with left-handed
00:47pitching over the past month. You take a look at the first
00:49five guys in that lineup, Perdomo, McCarthy, Gurriel,
00:52Bell, and Grichuk, all solid hitters, but look at the ISO
00:55power numbers. 0, 139, 107, 148, and 120 here. Maybe
01:00Minai can quiet the bats here for the Arizona Diamondbacks
01:03enough to get that offensive going, offense going, but at
01:05the same time, it's not like we love that Mets lineup tonight
01:09either. Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound. He actually has
01:11average statistics, if you want to say, over the past month,
01:14but also from a Mets perspective, they have struggled
01:17hitting left-handed pitching. So I do like the Mets and sort
01:19of a coin toss here, but maybe the better look overall is just
01:22taking it under in this game.
