New South Wales police are treating the death of a man as suspicious, after his body was found at a park in Western Sydney this morning.

00:00Just before seven this morning, a member of the public discovered a man laying unconscious
00:08in a park in Sydney's west.
00:10They called triple zero and officers responded quickly.
00:13They performed CPR on the man, but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
00:18He is believed to be aged in his thirties, but he's yet to be formally identified.
00:23Police have been scouring the area for evidence and say that his injuries include a significant
00:28head injury, but they are still trying to determine how he died.
00:34He has an injury to the back of his head.
00:36How that injury was caused, we don't know, and that's what we are endeavouring to find
00:40out.
00:41There's a number of enquiries we're going down.
00:42We're treating it as suspicious.
00:44It may be a case of misadventure.
00:45We haven't been able to determine that at this point in time, but we're certainly treating
00:49it as suspicious until we can prove otherwise.
00:54Detectives have been canvassing CCTV in the area to try to determine the man's movements
00:58prior to his death, and they are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
