00:00This is a good one, Donnie.
00:04The Lions or the Texans?
00:06To be a conference number one seed, of course, the Lions, NFC, Texans, AFC, at a three to
00:11one price, or the Bears and Commanders to go over 19.5 combined wins to get to 20 combined
00:20at plus 450.
00:23What do you think is the better bet?
00:25It's no question.
00:26This one at least is a little bit better than that plus 110 plus 270 split.
00:29I'll take the plus 300 here.
00:31I'm taking a look at teams I expect to be on the Ascension year, which means the Lions
00:34will challenge for that number one overall seed and the Texans will do the same.
00:39But you're saying like, I like the Commanders this year, Ben, I like the Bears this year,
00:43but you know what the common denominator between those two football teams are?
00:46Rookie quarterbacks getting their starts and if you just divide it half and half, each
00:50one of those teams basically to get around 10 wins.
00:53That's tough to do with the rookie, even though we have high expectations.
00:56So I'm going to look at that three to one price at this point and say, I think that's
01:00more than likely because be honest, would you be shocked if the Bears and the Commanders
01:04both had 10 wins for me?
01:06Yes.
01:07Would you be shocked?
01:08Like, oh, look, the Lions are the top seed in the NFC.
01:09I'm not shocked by that.
01:10Or boy, nobody saw that coming from the Texans to be the one seed.
01:13No, they're going to be a good football team this year.
01:15Give me the three to one price.
01:16Give me the Lions and the Texans and it's no shade on the Bears and Commanders.
01:20I think they're going to have solid football teams, but you're asking rookie quarterbacks
01:23basically to win double digit games right out of the chute.
