Why has Leeds' incoming transfer activity dried up in the last month?
Transcript
00:00I had a look yesterday because the 20th of August marked one month since Jadon Bogle arrived at the
00:06club. At that time, a month ago, you know, players arrived in Germany, the squad was still, I mean,
00:15the squad was very strong then because you still had Somerville, you still had Jorginho, you know,
00:20nobody knew of Jorginho's release clause, or at least we didn't, the fans certainly didn't,
00:26and Bogle had arrived, he'd snatched a player with Premier League experience from
00:33a divisional rival, a local rival, things were looking good, Roden was through the door,
00:38Rothwell was pretty standard, you know, well, he's not going to be a Kamara replacement,
00:43but he offers a little bit something different, provided we do go and get something in the way of
00:48replacing Archie. They were in a very, very strong position, but yesterday, the 20th of August,
00:54was a month since that signing of Jadon Bogle. In that time, all other 23 Championship clubs
01:02have made a sign-in, over 70 players have signed either on loan or permanently for Championship
01:08clubs. I can't get away from that fact. That's a staggering number of deals which have been done,
01:15it's a staggering number of clubs to have done deals, many of whom have no money, and certainly
01:20less than the money recouped by Leeds this summer on their outgoings. It does just make you,
01:27it makes you think, doesn't it? And it's like, what is going on behind the scenes?
