  • last month
The police inspectorate has said The Metropolitan Police is failing in almost all its areas of work. How confident are you in your local police force's ability to investigate and prevent crime and in which areas do you think they could improve?

00:00We don't really have much problems around where I live anyway, but in recent months
00:08with all the riots and stuff, I think Leeds Yorkshire Police have handled it really well.
00:14I've always found them alright, but there aren't enough of them. We need more police.
00:22I've had to have contact with the police a few times through work over the last couple
00:26of years. I would say the majority of my interactions with them have been really positive. I've
00:32had one or two that have been very dismissive of some certain situations. I felt like I
00:40was being dismissed about my concerns.
00:43I think crime has increased quite dramatically over the last year or two in Leeds. There's
00:50been a lot more stabbings. There's even been two shootings up in Meanwood. I think they
00:58need to get on top of it.
