A 50-year-old gunman has been found dead after a series of shootings in western Sydney overnight. Police say the man attempted to break into the home where his wife, children and parents-in-law were staying as part of a planned separation. He fired at his wife's parents from outside the house, but no one was injured. The man then attempted to carjack two vehicles, when he shot a 56-year-old man who was sitting in a car with his teenage daughter. He was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
