Deniz is the daughter of a wealthy family as a child. She is so special for her school because of her beauty and popularity. Yiğit is the short and fat kid with glasses that everyone is making fun of at school. These two cross paths with each other while they are in middle school. Even though Yiğit is frozen out by everyone, Deniz takes him under her wing. They build up an unforgettable bond. Deniz becomes Yiğit's first friend and childhood crush.

However, when Yiğit turns 15, he has to move to the USA, and they get separated from each other. Then, Deniz has other changes in her life. First, her family's printing company goes bankrupt. Then, she loses her beautiful genes from her mother, and her father's not-so-beautiful genes emerge. Deniz loses her fascinating beauty. Deniz, who goes through a streak of bad luck, can't find a job after university. When she turns 29, she, with her own words, misses her life. Meanwhile, Yiğit loses weight and becomes a very handsome man, and on top of that, he has a constantly growing career.
