00:03Derbyshire Police have renewed their appeal for dashcam footage and information after an elderly cyclist was injured following a hit-and-run incident in Chesterfield.
00:12It happened at around 11.30am on July 2nd at the junction between Inkasil Green Road and Chesterfield Road in Inkasil.
00:20It is believed that the driver of a small red car involved in the collision did not stop at the scene and, despite officers' enquiries, they have still not come forward or been traced.
00:30The cyclist, a man aged in his 70s, suffered bruising and an injury to his face.
00:35Anyone who has information or dashcam footage that could help the investigation is asked to contact Derbyshire Police.
00:43One of Derbyshire's most garlanded hair and beauty salons is on track for another year of prize-winning success after racking up nominations in 10 categories for a national awards scheme.
00:53Aspire Creative, on Bank Road in Matlock, is in contention for a bumper night at the Salon Awards 2024 in November after the shortlist was announced this week which recognised many excellent strands of the business.
