00:43According to the DA, there is an importation ban in Cebuya.
00:47This means that illegal products are allowed to enter the Philippines.
00:53There is no sanitary or phytosanitary permit, so it is not guaranteed that the food will be safe for the public.

01:06In total, more than P50 million pesos were smuggled from China.
01:13There are no documents, so it is difficult. There might be diseases and pests.
01:17What effect will this have on the farmers if the products are exported to the market?
01:21It will affect the price and the livelihood of our farmers.
01:25The country of origin will dispatch the products back to the country of origin or destroy them.
01:30But to not waste the products, the Bureau of Plant Industry got a sample to put it under the food safety test.
01:37We will file an appropriate request to the court that this product can still be sold.
01:46And we will sell it to the government if they allow it.
01:49We will see if this product has residues of pesticides or microorganisms that affect the safety of the product.
01:58Our Secretary mentioned that this product does not have phytosanitary and proclarances.
02:05So it is really risky if this product will be exported to the market.
02:09The BOC is still investigating the real owner of the shipment.
02:14We will file a criminal case on smuggling.
02:18The Navotas City Local Government has already closed the warehouse.
02:22It is not registered and there is no building permit.
02:27The Secretary of Agriculture, Teo Laurel Jr. is also concerned.
02:30Of course, if we see a consignee, the President and the Directors should hide first.
02:36Because we will not stop until we find them and put them in jail.
02:44At the right time, the consignee of smuggled products will be blocked.
