The grieving family of a 31-year-old trainee doctor who was raped and murdered in Kolkata on Aug 9 said they are overwhelmed by the support they have received from across India, while the mother of the 2012 Nirbhaya Delhi gang rape victim said they are still living in 2012 as such rape murder cases are still rampant in the country.
