कानपुर: वाराणसी से अहमदाबाद जा रही साबरमती एक्सप्रेस (19168) देर रात करीब 2 बजकर 30 मिनट पर गोविंदपुर के आगे होल्डिंग लाइन पर पटरी से उतर गई। ट्रेन के कुछ डिब्बे पटरी से उतरने के बाद यात्रियों में हड़कंप मच गया घटना के तुरंत बाद रेलवे, पुलिस और फायर विभाग के आला अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे और राहत व बचाव कार्य शुरू कर दिया। घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए रेलवे अधिकारियों ने तुरंत जांच शुरू कर दी है, राहत की बात यह है कि इस हादसे में किसी भी यात्री के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है हालांकि, घटना के कारण यात्रियों में भय का माहौल देखा गया रेलवे की टीमें घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर डिब्बों को वापस पटरी पर लाने के लिए कार्यरत हैं। हादसे के कारणों का पता लगाने के लिए रेलवे के विशेषज्ञों की टीम ने जांच शुरू कर दी है अधिकारियों ने बताया कि प्राथमिकता के आधार पर ट्रैक की मरम्मत कर ट्रेन सेवा को बहाल करने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं घटना की विस्तृत जांच के बाद ही स्पष्ट हो सकेगा कि हादसे के पीछे क्या कारण थे।
