00:00I was talking to Comrade Prado, Comrade Hector Rodríguez, Comrade Jorge Riajaza, who are
00:09in the Commission of the Organizing Commission.
00:15I was talking, always, Licenciado Paria, Rector of the CNE, in charge of the organization
00:22of this process, of this electoral process, election 2024, of the community circuits.
00:32We were talking that, precisely, each communal circuit is choosing its project.
00:41At this height level, I can inform you that the projects that have been submitted are
00:53around 27,400 projects, which has been proposed.
01:00On average, about six projects per community circuits, and some of them are seven or five.
01:08Twenty-seven thousand four hundred twenty.
01:13For example, in Sully, they have proposed 2,700 projects, in Lara, 2,000, in Caracas,
01:221,000, in Barinas, 1,500, 17, and so on.
01:30In Suaté, 1,274, Miranda, 1,345.
01:39And the community should complete the cycle of assemblies, of debate, proposal of projects,
01:50and approval by majority of the six, seven projects that the community put in play.
02:01This is the second election, direct popular election, popular democratic election, that
02:07we do at the national level.
02:09The first one was in April.
02:11It was a test.
02:12It was a success that we had, and the community should now complete their project that I proposed
02:20in the permigration that I did for more than 300 cities, that with a homeland plan, we
02:28were launching a new phase of the direct democracy, of the popular democracy, the socialist democracy.
02:34So I assume the commitment in Canima, in Baracaibo, in Barquisimeto, in Mamera, in Barcelona,
02:42in Punto Fijo, in Portordaz, I assume the commitment with you to strengthen for and
02:50to launch four consultations per year, one per trimester of the prioritized projects
02:57in the communities.
02:58Do you want more democracy?
03:01Yes, we want more democracy.
03:03More democracy?
03:04Yes, we're just building more, and in Venezuela there will be more democracy, but the democracy
03:09that is established by the Constitution, our model, not the model of a bourgeois democracy
03:15representative which is false, which the West and capitalists want to sell as the only model.
03:24We have our own model, our own national model, Venezuelan model, made in Venezuela.
03:32The project that we are revising, precisely because this will allow us, imagine every
03:40three months the communities will be voting and to approve their own projects on a majority
03:49basis.
03:50They will go to vote for their project, and every three months the funds will be arriving
03:58to you.
03:59That is to say that they will have a very fruitful work in order to deal with the issues
04:05that are prioritized.
04:08What are the projects that are prioritized handling the internal water supply?
04:14Water.
04:16Okay, this is like one by seven of a good governance that reports water.
04:25Fundamental report.
04:27Viability in the community, in the neighborhood.
04:32Third priority, which is established, electricity, illumination, etc.
04:40Fourth, health.
04:44Fifth, education.
04:48Sixth, environment.
04:50Seven walls.
04:53We have a very important wall in the community in Guaquire, right?
04:58Then afterwards it goes productive services, infrastructure, sea infrastructure, agriculture,
05:05sports, sports courts, industrial process, public transportation, agriculture systems,
05:13tourism.
05:14That is to say, all the priorities will be combined that will mark the life of the community
05:22What should democracy be?
05:25The empowerment of the citizens, of men, of women.
05:29The regular citizen in his community as social being.
05:34I would like the Ministry of People's Power, Angel Prado, to tell us with this format that
05:43I have been able to explain how the process of postulation actually is going on.
05:51Good afternoon, Mr. President.
05:52Good afternoon, all the countries.
05:54Good afternoon, the communities that are now in the popular assembly.
05:59This really is a very big party, electoral party.
06:03There's a lot of work in the territory in the implementation of the 4,500 projects that
06:09have been already funded.
06:11The projects that are now being complemented by other institutions that have been supporting
06:16technical equipment and that the community is valuing the potential and using the potential
06:21of the community has strengthened, has increased, perhaps not in the financial area, but the
06:28force to find and to achieve these projects.
06:32And at the same time, Mr. President, people are getting ready, the people are, the communities,
06:36the circuits are getting ready for this next popular consultation.
06:41There's a big debate which has been retaken, the community assembly, the debate, the priority
06:48of projects, the socialism, the territorial socialism, everybody in the community, the
06:5370% of leaders.
06:55We are live in Caracas, Venezuela, where President Nicolás Maduro offered statements from the
07:00Sol del Perú Hall of the Mila Frères Palace during a working meeting for the communal
07:05consultation of August 25th.

07:12gathers the immense force of the Venezuelan people.

07:20a country that is on the right side of history with the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez
07:24as the most dearest treasure.
07:26Those were the words of the President Nicolás Maduro.
07:29In the upcoming months, the government will focus its efforts in key sectors like energy,
