00:00A two-year-old child in Iloilo fell into a pot with hot soup because of a child who died of pneumonia.
00:10Zhen Kilantang Sasa of GMA Regional TV has this report.
00:17Janet Gallardo did not think that the hot soup would be the reason for the death of her two-year-old child.
00:24While preparing food for her two-year-old child in Iloilo,
00:29on August 8, she did not notice that her two-year-old son, Kaiden, was playing behind her.
00:35She was surprised to see the child in the pot.
00:39The child slipped and fell into the pot.
00:43When I got home, I saw the child in the pot.
00:49I took him to the hospital.
00:52To make it clear, the soup did not boil because an hour had passed since the child slipped into the pot.
00:59But because it was still hot, the child had fourth-degree burns.
01:03She was rushed to the hospital, but her life was saved on Tuesday.
01:07When I was washing my child, I saw the child in the pot.
